Cape Cod Carpet
Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the overcast, rather warm island of Nantucket! Great to be with you on this Tuesday morning, the twenty-ninth day of November, 2011, a cloudy start with warm temperatures in the little Indian village of Cotuit, chalk full of wood and ocean, and, if you listen very carefully, you can still hear the “insolent” Indians crying out for some kind of social JUSTICE, as the newly arrived inhabitants of this New World take what was never theirs to begin with, leaving those Indians with natural gas well heads oozing with 596 deadly chemicals, poisoning the water and air for generations to come. WE are merely stewards of what God has graced US all with, fiercely defending the wilderness today, just as one of our greatest President’s did at the beginning of the century, the twentieth, that has long passed us by…Teddy Roosevelt, who fought to preserve that wilderness at all costs, knowing that commitment to our environment would pay off for future generations to come… Oh, what does this humble reporter from Cape Cod really know about anything anyhow? Damn liberal, tree huggin’ hippy bastards!, especially when you have some really good men who are about to take the lead in this country, making those ‘too big to fail banks’ even bigger, and more dangerous to all concerned, i.e., everyone in the world today, yes, let’s see, what else, oh yeah, the environment we were just speaking of, yes, that too, I’m afraid, will be gone, for a ‘man’ like Newt Gingrich, who once sat on a sofa with Nancy Pelosi (former Speaker of the House), talking a big game to climate change and the importance of tackling this paramount issue, not to mention, well, you can tune in to “Countdown, with Keith Olbermann”, for the rest today, airing every weeknight at eight p.m., eastern standard time, (and re-airing every weeknight at 11, 2, 7, noon and three the next day) only on Current TV, where you will get the straight news, none of this fizzy, water downed horse$hit you get over on FOX NEWS every night, where clinical tests have proven that watching even a few minutes of that crap will give you blurred vision, nausea, body aches, and trouble going to the bathroom, unless you are running there to throw up, for the Kool-Aid Rupert Murdoch’s FOX NEWS fun house, or another kind of house Keith mentions from ‘time’ to ‘time’, yes, the Kooky Kool-Aid that is offered up by ‘Fox and Friends’ does not take a break from hypocrisy, lying, money grabbing, sexually harassing, or condoning it in the candidates Rupert ‘approves’ of, no, it keeps on spreading the love, day in, and day out, keeping it free from the ‘fact zone’ and solidifying it’s only real function–to pull the wool over the collective eyes of ‘the American People’, ever pushing the real AMERICAN PEOPLE into the ditch the republican party wishes to bury them in. Few lights remain, as in real congressmen and women who stand up and fight for what is right, by THOSE American people, such as a congressman right here in the great state of Massachusetts, Barney Frank, who has served his constituents with dignity, grace, humor, style and loyalty, never forgetting, during his decades of service to this nation, why he was sent to Washington D.C. to begin with. WE, here at seacapecod.net salute you sir, and wish you God’s speed for the remainder of your term, as well as into the future, where you will, hopefully, someday, attain that PhD from Harvard~ Have a nice day folks, keeping in mind that WE are all very lucky to be living in such a great country, even with all of it’s current challenges, i.e., stopping a highway robbery from happening right before our very eyes. This is still a great land, full of rich history, great men and women who graced it, and an abundant amount of LOVE, an element that can conquer ANYTHING! PRESERVE THE WILDERNESS! Peace~M
