Brother’s and Sister’s…
Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the great island of Nantucket! So good, as always, to be with you and YOURS, on this beautiful day here in the little, tiny, tiny town of Osterville, Massachusetts, a hippie hang out for the ‘ner de wells’ of the liberal media outlet, better known as SEACAPECOD.NET. Of course, I am just joking about that one, as we all know, should you choose to “google” Osterville on a map, and upon doing so, you will see that the Dupont family lives here, as well as the founders of one of the world’s largest banks, Mellon Bank, “it’s a parking lot Wang”, and to that point I would say this–kudos, for being a member of the platinum group, for, as we all know, that whole “gold line” scam, created by the same folks who brought you, “the sky is falling”, make money off of other people’s FEAR. But, I digress, as always, and on that note, I thought, today, the “day after”, newly elected “speaker of the house“, in lower case letters, John, let’s all say it out loud, “billy bob”, Boehner, took his oversize weapon of a gavel and pronounced himself as “King of the World”… (my apologies to the writers of the movie Titanic). Yes, that day of JOY, WE, all feel in this country of freedom and bravery, yes, that day has arrived where the assho$es of the world unite around one central premise, and, that, of course, being, “We will stand behind the PLUTOCRACY that is already here, for we know that we were “elected” to be the puppets that we truly are for the multi-national corporations that have been raping and pillaging GOD’S GREEN EARTH for over 50 years now, yes, we stand united in stopping the “spending” on the POOR and fellow citizens of this great nation, founded, I might add, on one simple principal, WE THE PEOPLE.” Here’s a pop quiz, what does the movie Avatar and the ushering in of the new 112th congress have in common? They are out to kill the HOME TREE! I am not in the mood to speak of billy’s crying, nor do I give rat’s ass about his moving lips, for his moving lips, by definition, if they are moving, ARE LYING! I am more interested in what John Denver had to say in a song he wrote prior to his death in the 1980’s… AND ACTION! (from the song “poem’s, prayers and promises.”) “So you speak to me of sadness, and the coming of the winter, the fear that is within you now, it seems to never end…and the dreams that have escaped you, and the hope that you’ve forgotten, you tell me that you need me now, you want to be my friend…and you wonder where we’re going, where’s the rhyme, where’s the reason, and it’s you, who can not ACCEPT it is here we must BEGIN to seek the wisdom of the children, and the graceful way of flowers in the wind… FOR the children and the flowers are my sisters and my brothers, their laughter and their loveliness could clear a cloudy day, like the music of the mountains and the colors of the rainbow, they’re a promise of the FUTURE and a blessing for today… Though the cities start to crumble, and the towers fall around us, the sun is slowly fading, and it’s colder than the SEA, it is WRITTEN from the desert, to the mountains they shall lead us, by their hand, and by their heart, they will comfort YOU and ME… in their innocence and TRUSTING they will teach US to be free… For the children and the flowers ARE my sisters and my brothers, their laughter and their loveliness would clear a cloudy day, and the song that I am singing is a PRAYER to non-believers, come and stand beside US, WE can find a better way…” My blessings to you and YOURS on this sixth day of January, 2011, and may the creative intelligence, that is REALLY in charge, save us from ourselves.
