Beautiful, what is this velvet?

Filed under: Blog — Michael @ 12:17 pm

Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the rain driven, thunderous, white lighten’ hot island of Nantucket!  AHOY! And Happy Father’s Day to one and all Dads out in the world today, may your day be filled with roses of all forms.  The rain is coming down in buckets here at the Hyannis/Hyannis Port Waterfront(s), this 21st day of June, 2015–the Summer Solstice–indeed a soggy Sunday high noon moment and although that precipitation may postpone the BBQ or the beach, golf or some kayaking, here in hub of this little sand bar there is an old car show steaming down Main Street, so come on down and pay US a visit!  We will, as always, leave that light on for ya! And judging from the energy of last night on said street by the Sea, well, one might say that the spirits are in high gear ’round these here parts…

Very few realize how much a good man means in the grand scheme of things.  Someone once said to me that ‘anyone can be a father, but to be a “Dad”, well, that takes some special magic does it not?’  We were all born naked, helpless, vulnerable and ‘alone’ in this world. ‘Tis true that for those men and women lucky enough to have had that good man looking out for us, well, it there anything else to say?  So I say, if Triple Crown winner American Pharaoh gets some roses on that special day, so too should our collective fathers over this ’series of tubes’ called the Internet.  Thankfully, bringing some love back into this world even if it upsets those who are not awake to that Force.

Have a great day Dad!

PRESERVE THE WILDERNESS! Peace~M
