‘Be not far from me’…

Greetings and sunny salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the golden sun risen, cold, clear, celebrating island of Nantucket! Great to be back with you on this Fifteenth Day of December, 2021, a gorgeous Wednesday early morning here in quintessential, quaint, quiet, Christmas lit up village of Centerville, where the spirit of this sacred ‘time’ of Christmas is in the air, literally and figuratively, for without the love, lights, laughter, singing, caroling, musical church bells ringing where shadows of old hang heavy in the air of this famous town, what would the season be?

Many do not take heed to Holy Books such as the Bible, but in the Book of Psalms, one can find refuge from an unseeming world, full of hate, division, evil and evil doers W.H.O. will not SEA the LIGHT of God.

Rather, they FEAR it!

Even if this ‘humble’ reporter hopes and prays some of them may SEA the error of their wicked way, over the course of a sacred day;

I pray!

It is written anciently, quite clearly in aforementioned Book of Psalms, 37:20, and it goes something like this, quoted ‘below deck’…, so without further adieu, I wish you all a blessed day now and forever more, keeping that spirit of love, kindness, generosity, brotherhood, and humanity, all traits made in God’s image emblazed in your hearts, minds and souls, and until we meet again, from this ‘little cottage in the wood’, keep singing, dancing and loving each-other, as the Father has done unto you…

“Fret not thyself of evil doers, neither be thou envious of them that work unrighteousness,. For they soon shall be cut down like the grass, and wither like the green herb. Trust in Je-ho-vah, and do good;
dwell on the land and feast on His faithfullness.
Delight thyself also in Je-ho-vah; and he will give you the desires of thy heart. Commit thy way unto Je-ho-vah, trust also unto Him, and he will bring it to pass. And he will make thy righteousness to go forth as the light, and thy justice as the noon day. Rest in Je-ho-vah and wait patiently for Him.
Fret not thyself because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man wicked devices to pass .Cease from anger and wrath:

Fret not thyself, it tendeth only to evil doing.

For evildoers shall be cut of; but those but those that wait for Je-ho-vah, they shall inherit the land. For yet a little while and the wicked shall not be. Yea though shalt diligently consider his place, and he shall not be: but the meek shall inherit the land, and shall delight themselves the the abundance of peace.

The wicked plotteth against the just, and gnasheth upon him with his teeth. The Lord will laugh at him; for he seeth that his day is coming!

The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, to slay such as upright in the way. Their sword shall enter into their own heart and their bows shall be broken.

Better is a little that the righteous hath, than the abundance of many wicked. For the arms of the wicked shall be broken, but Je-ho-vah upholdeth the righteous

Je-ho-vah knoweth the days of the perfect; and their inheritance shall be forever.

They shall not be put to shame in the time of evil, and in the days of famine shall be satisfied. The wicked borroweth, and pay not again, but the righteous deal graciously and giveth.

For such are blessed of Him shall inherit the land, and they that are cursed of Him shall be cut off…”
