A day of thanks…
Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the misty, magical, mysterious, mouth watering island of Nantucket! Great to be with you and yours on this “Thanksgiving Day”; a quiet Thursday morning on a little sand bar that ‘time’ forgot. As y’all make your way ‘over the river and through the woods to grandma’s house’, at this seven a.m. hour, may said journey be safe and filled with love, light and frogs!
There are many in this world who have very little, precisely the reason that this humble reporter is especially grateful today. For there was a ‘time’ when I had no home, no food, no money and no one to call my friend. Not surprising considering some of the words presented in this ‘blog’. During those dark years, and having seen it from the grim reality it is for so many in this great nation, I was forced to look within, for after all, that is where salvation truly lies. Discovering, ‘at the end of the day’, that WE are all ONE.
Grateful people are happy people, those who aren’t, aren’t…
May you be blessed, your family blessed, and this country blessed and once again from the sandy shores of this ‘must SEA‘ hamlet; may you have a beautiful day!
