24 little hours…
Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the spectacularly sunny, snow kissed, super stunning island of Nantucket! ‘Tis good to be with you on a glorious Tuesday High Noon on the sacred shores of Craigville Beach. It is The Sixteenth Day of January, 2018, and although this reporter was not ‘under contract’ to write any more blogs this week, I simply wish to send out a ray of hope in a rather dismal season most look to winter as, especially this one in some parts of the country, right Kent, Connecticut?
God’s speed with the frozen river floods!
One can find the polar opposite in winter however, especially here on this little sand bar. For yesterday could not have been bleaker; snow squalls, dark skies, stiff winds and frigid temperatures put the exclamation point on mid-January. Yet today, the sun came out, the birds chirped loudly, the snow began to melt in that kind, low, winter light and walking the ocean’s eternal sands, with the abundant wild things flying here, swimming there, I could not help but feel as though everything will be alright.
Because it has to…
Have a great day Y’all!
PRESERVE THE WILDERNESS! Peace~M
