AHOY!

Filed under: Blog — Michael @ 7:44 am

Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the cold, windy, wonderfully wicked island of Nantucket! Great to be with you on this 28th day of February, a blustery Friday morning here once again in great North Eastham, ‘the Outer Cape’, indeed,

‘Gateway to Cape Cod National Sea Shore’…

AHOY!

This just in to Sea Cape Cod.net, a leaked statement from OUR fine U.S. President Donald J. Trump, and I quote from it’s real source, “Bushwood Country Club”…

The premise or point is the coming cataclysm called corona.

This virus has destroyed the world markets and will reek havoc upon what we thought life was all about.

So listen in to the Oval Office on this sobering day,

let’s go to the video tape!

“So, Pence, you think ‘dis corona ‘ting will sink our chance for reelection?”

“No sir.”

“Do you trust that a miracle will occur and take ‘dis filthy virus out?”

“No sir”

“Do think it’s gonna rain, should I keep playing?”

“No sir”

“Someone once said there is no “I” in “TEAM”, do you believe  ‘dat nonsense?”

“Yes sir.”

“Your’re fired!!!”

Vote Trump!

“Making America great again?“;

...even if he does not have your best interest, or your families interests’,

in mind, heart,

and,

SOUL.

Have a super week end!

Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the rain soaked, soggy, simple, super island of Nantucket! Great to be with you on this Twenty-Seventh Day of February, 2020, broadcasting LIVE at the seven a.m hour in the heavy down pour in ye ‘ole woods of North Eastham, a place, this reporter will miss.

For he found peace and harmony amongst the Right Whales, Humpbacks, Osprey’s, coyotes, bunnies, blue jays, cardinals, chickadees, and our winged wolves, the ravens that rule the sky, even above the great red tailed hawk, that knows, as the Great Horned Owl wisely states,

the song sparrow wins in the end without any debates….

I wonder what it IS that you might think about our different worlds?

“He looked at me kind of sideways and said, ‘human beings are the only creatures on Earth, who claim a God,  and the only living thing that behaves like it hasn’t got one.”

Because the world belonged to no one but YOU.

And when he said it, I was taken a back.. Not because of who was doing the talking, but because I finally comprehend the connected-ness between children scavenging for food and shiny brass plates on the front of doors of banks…

“I want to make a promise to you dear reader, I don’t know if I can fulfill it tomorrow, or even the day after that, however, it is this;

I put the bastards of this planet on notice, that I do NOT have their best interests at heart.

I will speak for my reader, that is my promise. and it will be a VOICE made out of ink,

RAGE and art.”

(credit: UNKNOWN)

p.s. check out MSNBC Mika, Joe, Barnicle, the rest of the great journalists and crew, and the great historian, author, John Meecham, who recently wrote a great book entitled, “The Hope of Glory”…

I highly recommend “it”….

The story of a simple man who walked this earth over 2000 years ago,

~seeking nothing but LOVE and PEACE for Man’ only to leave at the violent end an empty tomb, witnessing the fact he was released from the cross;

with fact He only wished to remain Unknown.

Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the clammy, sultry, strong, satisfied island of Nantucket! Great to be with you at this six a.m. hour, Wednesday, The Twenty-Sixth Day of February, 2020, another mild day here deep in the woods of North Eastham,

‘The Outer Cape’, ‘Gateway to Cape Cod National Sea Shore’…

AHOY!

WOOF!

Just finished Star Bucks Coffee and Cheetos with The Dalai Lama”

“…So I jumped ship in Hong Kong, made my way up to the Himalayas, got on as a pro jock, you know, Caddy.  Who do you think I draw, The Twelfth son of ‘da Lama, The Dalai Lama himself, flowing robs, bald, saddles,

striking.

Anyway, ‘da Lama is a big hitter, long.

He hauls off and whacks ‘dis ball right into a 15,000 foot crevasse, next to a glacier and you know what he said?  Gunga da gunga.

Ah, Gunga da lunga da gunga….

Anyway, we finish up 18, and ‘da Lama is gonna stiff me, and I say, hey Lama, what about a little something for the effort?

He said there won’t be any money,

but on your death bed,

you will receive,

total

“Tears in Heaven”

Filed under: Blog — Michael @ 8:05 am

Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the misty, mild, murky, mysterious island of Nantucket! Great to be back with you and yours on this foggy Tuesday seven

a.m. hour, deep within in the woods of North Eastham, ‘The Outer Cape’, again, ‘Gateway to Cape Cod National Seashore’, where the plethora of bird life, sea life, and other wild life thrives and dives, looking into the depths seeking krill at will;

or other creatures such as rogue swimmers who are clearly not, as WE say here in Massachusetts’

“Shaark Smaaart”!

Be vigilant in these interesting waters of our ‘time’, not only the SNL “Land Sharks” exist, but deep within the mighty Atlantic Ocean, real Great White sharks swim amongst the English, who may, or may not be a friend within the ARK.

Depending on whether one looks like a seal, fish or former shark.

It is the 25th day of February, 2020, another day in paradise if you will, and once again, tuning into the fine true reporters out there, such as MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski , Joe Scarborough and the great Steve Kornacki, who have made this ‘humble’ “reporter’s” morning a little better.

Thank you.

The humor is palpable, for as we all know, Foxes have no jokes or empathy…

Just like our pal Donald J. Trump who cares nothing for the common woman, man and child in this great Republic.

Tonight there is another democratic debate on the eve of South Carolina’s primary where Bernie, Joe, Tom, Elizabeth, Mike, Pete, Amy and perhaps the real powers that be will show up and prove that WE need to come together as a nation, not divided, but healed an save this great Republic;

miraculously.

The stock markets around the world are deeply afraid of a pandemic that may have been man made.

Who knows?

Stay safe and well folks and remember the old adage via the late, great Ted Knight who stated, from the classic 1980 film, “Caddyshack”, also starring many other SNL greats;

“Danny, there’s a lot of bad in the world, I SEA it every day in court…

I’ve put boys younger than you to the gas chamber…

didn’t want to do it,

felt I owed it to them.”

Welcome to Russia Danny.

God Bless Koby Bryant and his daughter and all who perished on that fateful helicopter flight in LA~ especially this wife who, like the rest of US, survived the blow and must carry on without them,

at the ‘moment’.

“The Russians?”

Filed under: Blog — Michael @ 8:37 am

Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the rising sun, serene, snowy, seductive, secretive island of Nantucket! Great to be broadcasting LIVE once again from the deep woods of North Eastham, ‘The Outer Cape’, indeed, gateway to Cape Cod National Sea Shore.

AHOY!

It is the 21st day of February, 2020, a chilly snow ocean flurried Friday at the seven a.m. hour, tuning in once again to “Morning Joe”, only on MSNBC, whose fine reporting has brought some LIGHT to a seemingly darkened world of corrupt and illegitimate ‘leaders’ who are effectively taking this Republic down brick by brick.

The most recent example is Donald, “The JOKER”, TRUMP, whose over active ego has proclaimed itself as above the law of the land.  He recently fired Joseph Maguire, former head of the DNI (department of national intelligence), and inserted a political hack by the name of Richard Grenell, current ambassador to Germany, one of our closest allies, who, despite no experience what so ever in the intelligence world, will head all 17 U.S, intelligence agencies.  Countries around the globe have rung the alarm bell, claiming this is just another move to make the United States of America a true dictatorship, just like Russia.

“This isn’t Russia Danny,

is this Russia?”

(credit Chevy Chase from the classic 1980 film “Caddyshack”)

The riddles of our ‘times’ are often answered in film, the great silver screen, and here’s another quote that this ‘humble’ “reporter” wishes to share, coming from the 2008 movie “Burn After Reading”, appropriate considering it had everything to do with the CIA,

and I quote the head of said organization…

“…they went where?”

“To the Russian Embassy”

“Why would they do that?”

“Don’t know, scrubbed of ID…”

“The Russians?

“The Russians?!”

God be with US, for we now know the level to which these stooges will stoop.

HAVE A BLESSED WEEK END FOLKS!

Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the sunny, cold, calculated, casual island of Nantucket! Truly great to be with you on this Twentieth Day of February, 2020, another stellar day here deep within the woods of North Eastham, “The Outer Cape”", where the coyotes cry and the Osprey’s fly!

AHOY!

This humble reporter takes his hat off to NBC,; MSNBC, who brought forth a great U.S. presidential democratic debate last night in Las Vegas, Nevada.  As I tune into “Morning Joe” once again, and after viewing this debate till the midnight hour, WE ALL witnessed who will become the next nominee.

We know who that will be

“The Wizard of Oz” has nothing on “Mike”.

Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain seemed to rule the evening, as Elizabeth Warren, Joe Biden, Amy Klobuchar, and the great Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders took this out of touch Billionaire to task.

Bernie made the one and only point that makes the most sense.

And I paraphrase,

“Mike Bloomberg, worth over 55 billion dollars, factually owns more wealth than 125 million Americans.  He may attack me on ‘Socialism’, heck fire, look hard at that, for corporate America lives in that world of socialism.  As opposed to the poor in this great Republic lives via ‘rugged individualism’.

So who is the real socialist and who it the real future leader of the country?”

Have a wonderful Thursday folks and don;t take any more wooden nickles from ridiculous white men who offer nothing more than their bottom line.

Remember the children who have just been born.

That is what really matters, rise them up, let them not be torn.

AHOY!

This just in from MSMBC, via Ari, Joe and Mika, Reverend Al, and all the other great journalists doing a stellar job enlightening those Americans smart enough to tune in, back from the dead, give it up for King Arthur, when he faced a savage bunny who brought the mighty to their knees, desperately attempting to get across a bridge whose owner is a strong Wizard who makes the ultimate decision of who passes;

and who get’s tossed into the great abyss of irrelevancy.

Barr none…

Filed under: Blog — Michael @ 7:51 am

Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the cool, crisp, clear island of Nantucket! Great to be with you on this 18th day of February, 2020, another gorgeous morning here on the shores of Cape Cod National Sea Shore.

Tuning into the main stream media, once again, a murky place, yet, this ‘reporter’ has been wrong before. Some of these people, such as  the early “Morning Joe”, with Mika Brezinski and Joe Scarborough, only on MSNBC, offers some hope by revealing facts regarding a dictator in the making via the DOJ, this so called U.S. President, or game show host, Donald J. Trump. A man who uses this sacred office for his own gain.  Taking over the Department of Justice, i.e. Mr. Barr, Attorney General at large, a man who should be fired for cause.

This great Republic has no King.

That was the point of our real freedom so many moons ago during the Revolutionary War commencing with OUR U.S. Constitution ratified in 1787.

This poisonous relationship with Bill Barr and Donald “Joker” Trump must be addressed.

WE have the power.

These ghosts aforementioned are only wisps of Wimsey that will fade in ‘time’….

Boo and Barr not!

Vote this year;

get involved, for every person on this bountiful land is worth the effort.

Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the clear, cold, calm, blue skied island of Nantucket! Great to be with you and yours on this cool “President’s Day”, the real birthday of our First President George Washington, the 17th day of February, 2020, Monday early in the deep woods of North Eastham, ‘The Outer Cape’, indeed the gateway to Cape Cod National Sea Shore.

AHOY!

Chiming in with some simple thoughts about this heated upcoming U.S. election.  So many wheels turning it has become overwhelming for most good people who do the majority of the living, giving and bringing in this great Republic WE all call home.

This will come down to money.

Donald J. Trump is a joke.

He is a bully who will be called out for his corruption.

Who will take him on?

Bernie?  Amy?  Joe?  Mike?

No.

His base and debasement is far to deep for these fine politicians to take on.

For do you not know by now, elections are selections by the real powers that be?

Always has been; and always will be until we become free.

For that apple never fell far from the tree.

Have a great holiday, perhaps recalling our last real president, John F. Kennedy, who was shot down in cold blood on the streets of Dallas in 1963 for standing up to cancer that exists at the highest level of our so called democracy.

What has changed?

Sonnet 18

Filed under: Blog — Michael @ 9:12 am

Greetings and salutations from sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the cold, clear, blue azure skied island of Nantucket!  Great to be with you on Valentine’s Day, The Fourteenth of February, 2020, Friday, frosty as it comes.

Perhaps on the ‘day of love’, this ‘humble’ “reporter” could throw some love from deep the woods of North,

William Shakespeare’s Sonnet 18

“Shall I compare thee to a summer day?

Thou art more lovely and temperate;

Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,

And summer’s lease hath all to short a date;

Sometimes too hot the eye of Heaven shines,

And often is his gold complexion dimmed;

And every fair from fair sometimes declines,

By chance or nature’s changing course untrimmed…

But the eternal summer shall not fade,

Nor lose possession of that fair thou ow’st;

Nor shall death brag thou wanders’t in his

shade.

When in eternal lines to time

Thou Grow’st!

So long as man can breathe or eyes can SEA,

So long lives this, and THIS give LIFE to THEE!”

Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the foggy, fantastic, friendly island of Nantucket! ‘Tis true, it is a rainy, cool, casual Thursday morning here in the dark woods of North Eastham, “The Outer Cape”;

…looking towards dawn once again.

It is lucky 13th day of February, the eve of fabled Valentine’s Day here in America.  A day that either, in the immortal words of 104.7 FM “The Ocean”, a locally owned radio station here on Cape;

“Rekindles a memory, or creates a new one.”

I would highly recommend tuning into this unique, decent, non corporate work by one of the best DJ’s in the business, David Reid, on the :”job” for over 50 years!  Again, if it were not for these pro jocks, musicians would never have had a voice.

Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the sun risen, beautiful blue skied, bountiful, brilliant island of Nantucket! Good to be broadcasting LIVE from these sacred woods of North Eastham, ‘The Outer Cape’;

a magical haven where wildlife lives, thrives and sighs.

It is the Twelfth Day of February, 2020, a quiet Wednesday morning on this little sand bar created 11,500 years ago by retreating glaciers from “The Last Great Ice Age”.  As WE all are bombarded by politics as usual on ye ‘ole TV, never ending tuberous nonsense about itself, screaming out-loud in your ear, eyes and soul, 24/7/365, the ‘beat goes on’, for it is politics season. Thought suppression techniques (other than watching TV), remote control ELF waves, dimming memories, dimming concepts, deleting trains of thought, blanking subconsciousness,  yeah, good times!  Turn the page and take the stage.

Father Perry of “Our Lady of the Assumption” and “Our Lady of Victory”, two wonderful Catholic churches in Centerville and Osterville passed yesterday leaving behind the message that these politicians should embrace.

Bring LOVE.

Today is pivotal for this nation, for New Hampshire’s first national presidential primary markes the beginning of a very important election nationally and locally. Indeed New Hampshire, famous for it’s state’s slogan, “Live free or Die”, yo, this is what this fine Republic was built on and what it’s all about.

Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the misty, mysterious, marvelous island of Nantucket!  Great to be with you and yours on this five a.m. hour, The Tenth Day of February, 2020, indeed a dark Monday morning here in lovely North Eastham, anticipating Dawn’s arrival.

“All moments will be lost, like tear drops in the rain.”

Therefore, embrace while they are here.

U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders (D-VT) might just have a shot at the Democratic nomination this ‘time’ around.  God may be on his side.  This mighty nation needs an honest broker.  Former mayor of Burlington, Vermont, a state reflecting ‘what America once was’, and can be again.

Stay tuned to Tuesday’s New Hampshire’s primary, for it will be a sign where this 2020 presidential election is taking US.

We need only that honest air that we all breathe, not a web of lies that make a mockery of a democracy that should not be tampered with, nor taunted.  Too many great men have died for it’s preservation.  It is not a TV show, no sir, “The Apprentice” serves that shadowy point quite so well.

I highly recommend downloading the APP or just ask “Alexa” to tune into this super station that features an American treasure, Mr. David Reid, who brings sense, sensibility and kindness to an otherwise insane cold world.

Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the soggy, saturated, sultry island of Nantucket! Great to be with you on this Friday morning, The Seventh Day of February, 2020, broadcasting LIVE from deep within the coyote/wild turkey/white tailed deer filled woods of North Eastham. A real gem way out here on ‘The Outer Cape”, truly gateway to “Cape Cod National Sea Shore”, where one can SEA and swim with Great White Sharks Winter, Spring, Summer or Fall!  So come on down, and pay US a visit;

we will, as always, leave that Nauset LIght on for ya!

At the “National Pray Breakfast” in Washington D.C. yesterday, our U.S. President Donald J. Trump and u.s. Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi traded “prayers” with each other.  Nancy stating she is ‘praying hard for the president’,

“…because he is so off track.”

The Donald, I’m sorry, Mr. President, retorted, “She is a horrible person”.

That does not sound like a prayer to me.

Hope you all have a  great day and week end, keeping in mind, that classic film from great director, actor Robert Redford, “A River Runs Through It”, where this message from Missoula, Montana goes straight to one’s heart, mind let alone the eternal soul...

“Eventually, all things merge into one and a river runs through it.  The river was cut by the world’s great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of ‘time’.  On some of these rocks are timeless raindrops.  Under the rocks are words, and some of those words are theirs.”
