Mechanical Groundhog Day!

Filed under: Blog — Michael @ 2:50 pm

Greetings once again from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the blue, brilliant, balmy island of Nantucket! Great to be back with you on this last day of January, 2020, a gorgeous Friday afternoon, the ‘eve’ of the ‘eve’ to the big game on “Ground Hog Day”, February, The Second, 2020.  Using the word ’second’ as this marks the 54th Super Bowl in this Nations’ grand love for that truly American game of NFL Football.

It happens to fall on said ‘Ground Hog Day’ and it seems PETA is all up in arms about ye ‘ole ground hog who will not be disturbed, nor sir, he has been replaced by a mechanic version of himself, much like humanity at large.

“Oh, to be a real ground hog once again!”

“Will he SEA his mechanical shadow?”

Thank you Bill Murray!

Go 49er’s!

Not the only one….

Greetings and salutations and the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the partly sunny, cool, crisp, seven Karat island of Nantucket! Great to be with you on another day in paradise, indeed this small hamlet WE all call home, the aforementioned sacred shores Meaning more to US than WE can ever really comprehend.

On this Friday morning, 31st last day of January, 2020, gratitude comes to mind…

The World cares and Love abides beyond war, poverty, and power struggles.

Yes, this beautiful plane is waking UP to what is important, and what is clearly NOT!

As above so below…

Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the ‘peek a boo’ blue skied, brilliant, bouncy island of Nantucket! Cool day here in North Eastham, as one wanders this magical gem that must be experienced to be believed.  The Thirteenth Day of January, 2020, reaches you and yours on this wonderful Thursday morning, busy strumming a guitar listening in to one of this ‘humble’ “reporters” favorite DJ’s, Mr. David Reid, Ocean” 104.7 FM, truly a great man who has graced this little hamlet with his talent for over 40 years.

That is a career.

And, I might add, helped this writer get through the toughest time of his life.  Losing people, like both my parents this past year, within a few months of each other, was something I could never face, yet, via kind voices from the FM wilderness, adding amazing music, healed that wound.

Music, Love and Forgiveness are the greatest healers known to Man.

If you think back on that amount of ‘time’, a lot of water has gone under the bridge.  So we, here at Sea Cape Cod, offer this image;

‘below deck’…,

the famous Crosby Yacht Yard in Osterville.

My real home town.

HAVE A GREAT DAY!

January’s solar glow…

Filed under: Blog — Michael @ 9:05 am

Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the damp, grey, grizzled island of Nantucket! Great to be with you at this seven a.m. hour on this 29th day of January, 2020.  Broadcasting LIVE from our ‘World headquarters’ here at the ‘Gateway to Cape Cod National Sea Shore’, North Eastham, a true unspoiled gem on this little sand bar created 11,500 years ago by “The Last Great Ice Age”…

AHOY!

Perhaps it’s just me, but has the world moved more into LOVE, LIGHT and Frogs?

Let’s start with Love. So many more around Earth care about our fellow man, animal kingdom, plant world and future than in any time in our modern history.  And it is only getting stronger.

Light is streaming more powerfully than can be seen by our limited sight in the frequencies therein.

Frogs are more in vogue than ever, as WE ALL care more about Mother Gaia.  For after all, the health of those cute little green guys will spell our fate as a species.

Have an inspired, powerful, pioneering, prosperous day!

Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and once again milky skied, mild, magical island of Nantucket! ‘Tis the Twenty-Eighth Day of January, 2020, a cool, calm, cloudy day here in North Eastham, a place one should visit soon, for there is no better beach than “First Encounter”, for you and yours might just remember the love John F. Kennedy once stated, ‘….we will return to the SEA”.  Well, maybe I paraphrase a little, but his point is the ocean and our being is 70% of reality.  Perhaps he was on to something.

I am writing this simple blog “We are the World” via 104.7 FM with the great DJ David Reid, and feeling as though this Word is better for people like him.  Giving information about the great artists that strum their guitars, scream that saxophone, bang the drum, love the piano, bow the viola…

Thanks Dave for 50 years!  You are a national treasure so rare in the compartmentalized Matrix set up by ‘Man’.

And to all who this humble reporter failed, I still love you.

Have a great day folks!

Nauset LIGHT!

Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the milky skied, mild, mysterious island of Nantucket!  Good to be with you on this somber Monday morning,  The Twenty Seventh Day of January, 2020, broadcasting LIVE from deep in the woods of North Easthham, ‘Gateway to Cape Cod National Seashore’, a bird haven, lo, a Right Whale miracle for all who dare to tread these sacred shores.  Nauset Light will greet you and yours with a big smile on her face, for after all, there is no death, only the pain of those we leave behind…

Yesterday, a tragic helicopter accident occurred in rough weather in the mountains of Los Angeles, California, taking nine lives, God Speed to them ALL. Legend Kobe Bryant, NBA rock star, left this plane along with his daughter.  The Brewster ‘White Caps’, part of the Cape Cod Baseball League, John Allobelli, perished in this accident as well.  OUR deepest prayers our with all who felt this sting…

Especially those, like his son, who played for the ‘White Caps’, who lost both his parents in one fell swoop.

Life is short.

For God’s sake, Love one another;

and, do not take anyone,

for granted…

God’s speed!

“I have a dream”

Filed under: Blog — Michael @ 7:44 am

Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the gentle snow flurried early morning sky of the magical island of Nantucket! Great to be with you and yours on this Twentieth Day of January, 2020.  Still dark outside, however, at this six a.m hour this great Republic begins to celebrate the late, great inspirational soul leader of America, Reverend Martin Luther King Jr., who was shot down in cold blood April 4th, 1968.  A man, lo, an enigma, who transported this nation into a clearer way of seeing how important LOVE for our fellow Man truly IS. So, on this chilly Monday morning, we here at Sea Cape Cod wish to offer a quote that sums up his whole enlightened existence when He graced this World many decades ago…

Peace to you ALL.

“The first question which the priest and the Levite asked was ‘if I stop to help this man, what will happen to me?’  But, the good Samaritan reversed the question, ‘If I don’r stop to help this man, what will happen to him?’”

MLK

God’s Speed.

First Encounter…

Filed under: Blog — Michael @ 9:22 am

Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the breezy, frigid, frosty, frolicking island of Nantucket! Great to be with you on this Seventeenth Day of January,  2020;a chilly Friday morning, broadcasting LIVE from deep in the sacred woods of North Eastham, “Gateway to Cape Cod National Sea Shore”. The image ‘above deck’, is a dune and fence at one of the best beaches on this planet, “First Encounter”, right here, right NOW.

This was where the Pilgrims arrived over 400 years ago.

First.

Although most are wrapped up in politics these days, keep this in mind.  This nation was founded on the concept of a Republic, not Republican, nor Democrat, lo, a nation “Of the People, For the People”.

Divide and conquer is the game.  That is how the ‘powers the be’ (presently) keep on truckin’ in that shame...

But WE have the POWER to change that dynamic.

Have  great week end folks with lots of LOVE.

For that is ALL that is REAL;

the true DOVE.

Greetings and salutations  from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the truly, balmy. magnificent , magic, mysterious island of Nantucket! “Tis the Eleventh Day of January, 2020, a glorious Saturday night with John Belushi in sight

Great to be broadcasting LIVE from everyone’s favorite playground, North Eastham.

‘….Gate Way to Cape Cod National Sea Shore”

To quote a famous author,

“I have this new relationship with my life, it’s called the snooze button.
Very little troubles me and the past is forgone.”

“Days, pass  and yet I still love, as I will always say and that is for long….”

However, I must say,  I will not be put in thy haze and glaze of ABC’s “World News Tonight’s”; any longer…

…the corporate, CORRUPT seamless HORSESHIT, that puts one and all into a distant daze.

Enjoy and be kind.
