Patriot POWER!

Filed under: Blog — Michael @ 10:55 am

Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the golden sun laden, pure blue skied, cold, crackling island of Nantucket! ‘Tis very good to be sending this “message in a bottle”, propelled on a postcard perfect day; sailing off from the shores of this little strip of sand that ‘time’ forgot. It is The Sixth Day of February, 2017, and it is a Monday, and for most, that means it is back to work after an exhausting night of watching perhaps the most exciting Super Bowl ever played in the fifty-one years in it’s existence as a national American sporting treasure–a must SEA–commercials included, as this particular game went the distance, in both intensity and pure physical exhaustion…

Considered by most sporting scholars as the greatest comeback in Superbowl history, down 28-3 at ‘one juncture’… Tom Brady (Super Bowl MVP), New England’s storied quarterback, led his team back from the impossible to an improbable victory that sent this ‘neck of the woods’ into pandemonium, ecstasy, and pure, unadulterated JOY!

God Bless both Tom and head coach of the New England Patriots, Bill Belichick, now the rightfully proud owners of FIVE Superbowl rings, the only pair to be in the position to make that statement.  Sitting for a moment on a cloud of their own, a higher level if you please.  Higher than any other player/coach relationship this cowboy reporter can think of…

So, on this frigid, windy, sun dripped, azure skied, and quite glorious day, ‘down on the docks’ of ye ‘ole Hyannis Haaaabaaa, I bid you and yours a prosperous, peaceful, fine and fair adieu! And once again, congratulations to the New England Patriots!

Super Bowl LI Champions!

PRESERVE THE WILDERNESS! Peace~M
