Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the perfectly blue skied, breezy, seasonal, golden sun dripped island of Nantucket! Very good to be with you on this spectacular Thursday morning–The Thirtieth Day of June, 2016–broadcasting LIVE once again ‘down on the docks’ between the Hyline and Steamship Authority vessels that ferry daughters, dogs and delicacies back and forth to those aforementioned islands that keep one in a state of wonder and bliss the whole year long… Take the “Whale Watcher” (seen above deck) for example.  Created more than 30 years ago by naturalist/birder, gifted photographer and a master of the long lost method of coloring photographs; hand-painted works of art from a photo (myfavoritepics@gmail.com), Patricia Marsan. Transcending all those images on one’s ’smart phone’ into images one will treasure for a lifetime!  With her help, plus the owner, captain & crew of the “Atomic II”, many people are able to SEA these great oceanic animals up close and personal, without driving all the way to the tip of the Cape 67 miles away, Provincetown, to do so.  She’s launching every day out of Barnstable Harbor, so get your ticket NOW!  A great memory will be taken from that vessel, as you are whisked away to Stellwagen Bank, 30 miles nautically northeast of Provincetown, witnessing the mighty monarchs of the sea, the great aquatic mammals known as the Blue, the Humpback, the Finback, the Pilot, the Sperm, the Right, the Orca, and all the others. Intelligent, divine creatures of God; created of the highest order… So as we near this upcoming July Fourth week end, the official summer kick off for this sandy playground by the sea, may you somehow figure out a way to get out here and join the party!

We will, as always, leave that LIGHT on for ya!

“Planes, Trains and Automobiles” (credit:  the classic 1987 film starring the late, great John Candy and the still very much alive Steve Martin; both equally funny in showing US all just how much fun public transportation really is…, just ask the old TSA, they’ll tell ya!), have descended upon this quiet sandy land, transforming the wondrous ghosts of winter into the super spirits of summer… For only a few months ago, the walk down Ocean from Pleasant Street, through the park, was as lonely as the Morning Dove’s haunting, peaceful, beautiful call.  Now, one cannot help but notice Jet Blue flying high overhead with passengers emanating from JFK and points beyond, not to mention the fleet of private jets at the Hyannis “international” Airport, turning the walk down those previously mentioned streets, Main street and every other town and village’s Ancient Indian path into 5th Avenue in midtown Manhattan.  For make no mistake about it, there is no other place to visit this summer than this historic hamlet that ‘time’ forgot.

Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the once again sunny, breezy, warm, inviting island of Nantucket! Good to be with you on a beautiful Sunday morning, The Twenty-Sixth Day of June, 2016, broadcasting LIVE on a little strip of sand ‘time’ left behind, save the Cape Cod Mall, the new Audi dealership, Whole Foods, Bernie and Phil’s, oh, let’s just forget the whole darn thing, just build that ‘dang fence already will ya!

We kid the corporate invasion, for what would we do without Verizon superstores selling us the newest, more expensive, radiating ELF microwaved NSA surveillance device?

Cape Cod and the aforementioned Isles have not been devoured by a “multinational” corporate presence permanently though, take the John F. Kennedy Memorial on Ocean Street in lovely and quite historic Hyannis for example. Pulling into the quaint, unassuming parking lot, you stare out at the lush trees towering overhead, the American flag piercing the blue skies above, with the U.S. presidential seal pinned center on that elegant, understated rock monument.  Jack’s face on the other side, complete with a beautiful fountain, glimmering in the sunlight, as that light dances in the eternal waters of blue below, freshly pruned red, yellow and pink roses adorn the outer perimeter, with 12 benches completing the circle of the memorial’s simple architectural layout, with a quote from Jack at the center of the fountain’s message reading,

“I believe that a country should sail, and not lie still in the harbor”.

Putting aside the 5×7 electronic collared “smart? phone” for a moment, just a moment, stepping boldly out of one’s vehicle, then taking in a deep, salt aired breath, striding out onto the freshly cut green, green grass that adorns this hallowed haunt, unplugging from all of the other voices gathered about in one’s head, staying the moment, allowing it if you please, one is suddenly filled awe and inspiration with what Jack Kennedy was actually talking about all those 54, 55, 56 years ago, lo, what he embodied as a leader and family man, what it’s really all about at the ‘end of the day’, and what he deeply wished for all in this country…

The U.S. presidential election process is going on in atypical fashion, half way through this late year of 2016.  Take NBC News anchor Lester Holt’s interview with presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump for example, he’ll tell ya!

Great to be with you on this mysterious Twenty-First Day of June, 2016.  A fine Tuesday High Noon on the Hyannis Waterfront, ‘down on the docks’ of our ‘time’ in the hallowed, haunted, historic setting of America’s most historic states, the ‘bay state’ of Massachusetts.  A state that tells the whole story of this 239 year old Republic via men like Paul Revere and Thomas Jefferson.  Today, in the late year of 2016, she looks tired and alone, adrift and depressed, lo, a lady torn in half–by design–with a hostile takeover in the not too distant future?

Kennedy gave a short, sweet speech to some of the gals and fellas crewing the precision racing yachts in the fabled “America’s Cup” sail boat races; a speech regarding the waters of our world, and why we are so darn fascinated by them…

The hamlet now in full summer mode with another triathlon going off at Craigville Beach earlier this morning, waking some loved one’s spending their last vacation night at ‘The Barnacle’, only trying to get some shut eye before heading up to Logan…

Safe flight young people and congratulations! WE love you!  Come back real soon!

That’s the ‘way it is’;  truly the universal story round these here parts of this amazing world we all share for such a short period of “time”. Life is most certainly a series of hellos and goodbyes, some for just a little while, some for the last time…

That’s the magic of this little sand bar created 11,500 years ago by ‘The Last Great Ice Age’.  An ancient age so many, many moons ago, creating those amazing aforementioned isles that in turn create new memories for those lucky enough to have visited or lived on them, laying the foundation to inspire, love and laugh. Illustrating in full, natural, glorious color, why we live to begin with.  If only more of brother’s and sister’s could SEA what we do everyday…

It would be a more loving world.

It has been said “I believe what I ‘think’ I know”, at least of this humble ‘message in a bottle’, thus, it would be logical to conclude that most of this ‘reality’ is not what is seems if one catches this drift…

Good to be with you on The Second Day of June, 2016, Thursday according to our friends at Reuters, and it is a grey, misty morning ‘down on the docks’ of ye ‘ole Hyannis/Hyannis Port, the week end visitors from all over the world hiding for the moment, but, like the tides, they will return…

These days half way through this late year of 2016 seem dark at times ’tis true.  However, there is good news. If one opens one’s mind, has some ‘time’, has the right opportunity and material and is made aware; perhaps even some day coming to believe with one’s whole heart in a simple man who lived some 2000 years ago, moreover, his message about how to live one’s life while on this rather low vibrating plane, sphere of existence we all are experiencing together as one consciousness, so as to enter into the Kingdom of God, Heaven itself!  A man with no angle, no money, nor ‘power’; yet, his short life changed this world forever…

Turn to Him in these deceitful times of confusion, corruption, compartmentalization, cunning and craft. Turn not to the ‘things of man’… For ‘at the end of the day’ those distractions will only lead one astray and away from the true Lord of the Mountains on High… The man with no world dominating plan is the only WAY to God.
