Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the Golden Sun Laden, breezy, moon still a rising over that amazing island of Nantucket! Great to be back with you (and yours), on this Friday morning here at the Historic Hyannis/Hyannis Port Waterfront(s)–the 30th day of October, 2015–another good day to be alive on a little sand bar created naturally by retreating glaciers some 11,500 years ago.  The strange and eerie remnants of Hurricane Patricia now long gone; a calmer, more seasonable weather pattern taking hold.  But of course in this day and age of ‘epic’ storms, one must conclude that taking advantage of a day such as this is of Paramount importance.  All related, relevant, and deeply connected to the old truism in Latin, “Carpe Diem”–

seize the day…

That sentiment is exactly what the U.S. Senate and U.S. House of Representatives exercised yesterday, passing a 2 year budget bill that has now eliminated the the many, many, man made fiscal crisis-es in this nation, perhaps allowing for some new compromises to take hold on Capitol Hill, with newly elected Wisconsin Congressman (R), Paul Ryan getting the nod to take that number three position of power in the United States governmental hierarchy.  Congratulations Mr. Speaker and may you have Good Luck with this tough position, holding fast to that ‘condition’ of not taking time away from family life.  May he be able to spend as much time with them as he may have to with lobbyists, or fund raisers, or any of the other nonsense that has been the undoing of much of this sacred democracy–the one with that little letter ‘d’…

Mr. Ryan will be taking over for outgoing Republican Ohio Congressman John Boehner, who gave an emotional speech to his colleagues before announcing Paul as his replacement.  A fine oration, clearly proving what a good and decent Speaker he really was.  Put in almost impossible situations with most, including this humble reporter, taking direct aim at many policy choices, philosophies and what not, may you have a great retirement and drop six shots of your overall handicap…

The race for the Republican 2016 presidential nomination was headlined this week of course, in the second, or was it the third GOP debate; many taking note of the battle between establishment favorite Jeb Bush and Florida Senator Marco Rubio, his young apprentice if you will, a man who now seems to own the conversion.., although one might take stock of the fact Jeb! has and always will, in this crowded GOP field, looked and acted the most presidential and thus, may have the real inner strength and fortitude to pull out wins in Iowa and New Hampshire, although that is a tall order at ‘this juncture’.

One looks forward to Donald Trump’s appearance, still one of the front runners, on SNL this Halloween, just one day from NOW! I think he told NBC’s Casey Hunt recently, “…it’s none of your business what I am going as young lady, in fact, I think I am going to go as the head of MSNBC and get you fired for ‘thinking outside of the box’ too much…’  How do you like them apples?  Oh, and to Alex Wagner and Lawrence O’Donnell, Rachel Maddow, Chris Hayes and Abbey Huntsman, Ari Melber, Toure, Krystal Ball, or that ‘fact obsessed’ intrepid reporter Steve Kornacki, yous are all a bunch of whiners and you better start saying nice things about me too!”

“You take everything so serious, why do you have to analyze so much?  I don’t know what I say from day to day, nor do I really care. Why the hell should yous people?  Who cares what the voter ‘thinks’ anyways? Always with the analyzing!

Great to be with you and yours on this Friday, the 23rd day of October, 2105–High Noon at the Hyannis/Hyannis Port Waterfront(s)–hoping you and yours are well and in good Spirits! By the looks of things on Capitol Hill in Washington D.C. of late, Sea Cape Cod prays Hillary Clinton is having a better day than perhaps yesterday ’s aforementioned Benghazi fault finding mission…

The reality of this most recent side show by U.S. Republicans–via ’special prosecutor’ U.S. Congressman, Trey Gowdy– beckons one back in ‘time’ to a rendition of the classic 1978 film, “Animal House” (starring the late, great John Belushi;written by Harold Ramis, directed by John Landis), wherein, circa 1962, the fictitious “Faber College’s” Dean Wormer is determined to expel the ‘entire Delta Tau Chi Fraternity, as they did not fit in with the ‘morality’ of Mayor ‘Carmine’s’ ideology.  The image of the sweaty, angry, rabid dogs of the right yesterday on all the airwaves–quarterbacked by “Doug Neidermeyer”, the real life version of that movie persona, the aforementioned U.S. Congressman, Trey Gowdy–was clear for all the world to SEA!

If the GOP’s work goes as well as planned, finger’s crossed!, their job and perhaps credibility has been sealed. For the World will note the reality of a BULLY when it is exposed; and all we can really say in the ‘media’ is “…thank you sir, may I have another!”

Have a great day everybody, and remember, don’t take any more wooden nickles from the likes of Rupert, “argghhh matey”, Murdoch’s “Hitler Youth Brigade”, via the FOX “news” channel!  They offer nothing more than an illusion of what is RIGHT, and by doing so cast a great shining LIGHT on what is most clearly WRONG with a corporate owned media resembling a bent intolerant political vision that hearkens one back to Europe in the late 1930’s…  Perhaps recreating history as it happened before, thus, proving the truism History ever repeats itself because MOST of US did not learn from OUR past mistakes and are thus doomed to repeat them until WE get it RIGHT…

Good to be with you on this 21st day of October, 2015; coming to you LIVE on this Wednesday, a late, late afternoon shout out from the historic Hyannis/Hyannis Port Waterfront(s), although looking around today, one might think a ghost is making an appearance, for the crowds have most definitely gone back home wherever that may be…

As you sit around the kitchen table tonight, soaking in all of the corporate propaganda nonsense, i.e. the inane 2016 presidential election reality TV show, one might consider the number captioned above deck.  That is the level at which Lake Mead and the Hoover Dam will stop producing electricity, a big problem for the 2 million residents of Las Vegas.  Oh, and the fact that by the year 2025 the whole lake will be dust, so good luck L.A., our prayers our with you!

Sobering, is it not?  Make no mistake about the Wizards at play here.  Their intent is to keep the masses in the dark as long as possible, until it is too late of course, silencing those who inform, so as to keep the machine running until the well is dry, procuring as much bloody profit in the meantime…  And by most credible scientists’–out there in the real World–estimates, like Australia NOW, California, Arizona, Nevada and 33 other states in the U.S. will be in big trouble by that aforementioned date.  Most likely going bone dry by that same year.

Water WILL be more precious than gold, sooner than one might ‘think’…

Water is LIFE. And it is given by a Grace infinitely more powerful than the unseemly greed of man.

Very good to be with you on this Monday morning, the 19th day of October, 2015, feeling like Fall once again, with temperatures near the freezing mark and the leaves beginning to turn orange, red and gold.  A peaceful place to be, remembering that this month is perhaps the most beautiful on a little sand bar Mother Nature created some 11,500 years ago…

The mad scramble to become this nation’s top guy or gal is only getting more uptight by the day.  Jeb! and ‘the Donald’ fighting about who was responsible for 9/11, Hillary readying herself for yet another Benghazi witch hunt, to wit it has already been called out as such by members of the same party of no. Bernie be blazing the trail, taking it up to a ten, as he gets a shout out from Larry David on SNL this past week end…, and all the innuendo regarding the possibility of VP Joe Biden jumping in the pool, yes, it is all there to witness 24/7 on your electronic device of choice if you should care to do so.  High theater indeed.

There is little doubt this election will turn the tide one way or the other for millions upon millions of American citizens, who, unbeknownst to them, have been pawns in a much larger chess game being played out by plutocrats who have no loyalty to anyone, save themselves.  That is not a democracy with that little letter ‘d’, and it is not what men and women in uniform paid that ultimate price for.  Namely, the preservation of the Wholeness of the U.S. Constitution, not just the parts that fit in with the rigged GLOBAL Corporatocracy, this so called ‘free market’, monetary-market system.  A system that is destroying nation after nation, simultaneously destroying OUR natural world, thus the order therein, making a few individuals very rich and leaving the masses to twist in the ever increasing winds of OUR time on this fragile and finite planet.

United States Senator Bernie Sanders, hailing from the great state of Vermont, is the right man at the right place, and he is the man who can make that evolutionary change happen; real change.

Think about it; voting in reason as opposed to ego, for future generations if not for oneself.

Great to be with you on this Thirteenth Day of October, 2015, a late Tuesday afternoon down here at the old historic Hyannis/Hyannis Port Waterfront(s).  The day started out with blasts of rain and wind, quickly followed up with a mini-heat wave and blazing sun beating down as the flowers that are still holding in this Indian Summer begin wilt in the searing sun…

It is astonishing to witness the GOP in such disarray, ‘…I haven’t felt this bad since we saw that Ronald Reagan film’, (credit the classic slap stick comedy film, circa 1980, “Airplane!”), at this late hour in the Autumn of 2015, only ‘weeks’ before the 2016 elections that WILL determine the fate of this country and indeed the World.  Will Wisconsin Congressman Paul Ryan take the job as the next U.S. Speaker of the House of Representatives?  Will he bow out instead, looking ahead to a future run for the top job?  Who knows, the only pressing issue is relativity and the GOP is quickly running out of that commodity.

Where have all the Golden Boys gone?

Great to be with you on a Friday morning here at the Hyannis/Hyannis Waterfront(s), this Ninth Day of October, 2015.  Looking above you may make out two Cormorants, extended wings and all;  awaiting the wind to dry them, so they can fly once again…

I guess they didn’t get the memo.

Perhaps akin to how the Republican party must feel ‘…at this juncture’ (credit: 41st U.S. President George H. W. Bush). The U.S. House of Representatives will officially be without a Speaker soon, although current Speaker (3rd in line to the president), John Boehner said he would stay on for a spell, as the GOP senior members scramble to find a new leadership model to lead this brave group of men and women on the right.  Heroically marching forward in a quest to destroy democracy with that little letter ‘d’, all while bankrupting the nation, smiling as OUR environment, school systems, municipalities, roads, bridges, the the sense of community at large, falls away to dust, whilst their handlers, the plutocratic men behind the curtain, pull the levers of legislation, ever recreating the country in their own best interests…

Word is on the street that Wisconsin Congressman Paul Ryan has been slated to take that coveted ‘front runner’ position, as it has been abdicated by House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy, who bowed out of what looked like a shoe in for the job.  Some say, however, he would not have made the vote, needing 218 to win.  Paul Ryan could very well be, as Mitt Romney mistakenly stated when he introduced him as his running mate back in 2012 as ‘the next president of the United States…’.  So, one must wonder, ‘does Paul really want that job?’  Just ask John, he’ll tell ya!

There’s no honor among thieves. Thus, with all the contradiction and corrosive policy planks on the right colliding and at odds, one might conclude this latest identity crisis will not bode well for their overall 2016 presidential chances.  Nor will shutting down the government.  Although, ‘at this juncture’, whatever this “not your grandfather’s GOP” does in this early part of the 21st century is not surprising.  Most, if not all, of the puppets in Congress, those with a ‘R’ next to their name, are “not ready for prime time”. Where is the honor in serving two masters? Universally known as impossible?

If the Republicans want to start winning again, they must start by being honest with ‘the American people’. Just come out and be truthful and sincere when you say, “…we don’t care about you in the slightest, and that is evidenced by OUR actions as a party on the whole for the past, oh, fifty years or so.  Plus, we are not really in charge, ‘they’ are, don’t look!  So have a heart, and vote Republican come November, 2016.  I mean stand up for Christmas for gosh sake!  We will make sure that vote in this pivotal and historic American 2016 presidential race is a vote against your own BEST INTERESTS. Thank you and may God continue to Bless America!”

Great to be with you on a sunny Thursday morning here at the Hyannis/Hyannis Port Waterfront(s)–the 8th day of October, 2015–another good day for a bike ride on this early October morn’, peddling past Kalmus, beyond the illusions embedded within the many forms of communication man utilizes today, much of it ‘lost in time’, casting most into a walking coma, plodding along, day after day, step by step, on a sometimes cruel and unusual corporate treadmill going nowhere…

Making money for someone else.

The Seas of change are granted via OUR folly; whether it is recognized in ‘time’, yet to be realized.

However, the pop corn is warm, buttered and salted, so pull up a seat and join the fun!  The non-stop coverage of this 2016 U.S. Presidential election has just begun in earnest.  Will Joe Biden run?  Can Hillary get past her emails?  Benghazi (once again)?  Likability?  Trustworthiness?  How about that Bernie Sanders?   Next Tuesday will witness an important Democrat debate, crystallizing most, if not all, the epic, pressing topics at hand.  Man made problems of monumental proportion facing the entire planet NOW in the early stages of this 21st century; the masses mostly in the dark as to what is really going down.

Therefore, it would stand to reason Vermont’s outstanding U.S. Senator, Bernie Sanders, will open a few eyes, as the country listens in… Whether or not US Vice President Joe Biden enters the race is still up in the air, but as some state’s deadline to throw one’s name into the hat nears, the great VP better make up said mind soon, knowing he has an edge on the head to head match ups with every Republican in the field.  The loss of his son Bo has weighed heavily on his soul, and one must take him at his word when he states, ‘I don’t know’…

One thing is for sure, Joe has a heart.

The loud, abrasive nature of the GOP’s offering continues to broadcast it’s sad message as if in a bubble, oh, wait, it is in a bubble, blasted out to the world via the echo chamber that has become a competitive 24 hour cable news extravaganza.  Some exceptions apply, SEA any number of quality hour long broadcasts that inform (rather than manipulate), only on MSNBC. It seems old Ben Carson, a Republican nominee to become this nation’s 45th president, yes, Ben Carson, the man who said “Obamacare” was akin to “Nazis”, said, of the recent Oregon community college mass shooting (mass shooting of the week, all based on insane gun laws), and I quote, with only a slight poetic license employed,

“…yeah, if I was one of them students, I would have told them all, hey, he can’t kill all of us!  Let’s tackle him!  And if I was armed, I would have just gone ahead and shot him.  I want to plant a seed in the American people’s mind that this kind of thing will happen again, so we might as well go ahead and arm them Kindergartners right away!  Set ‘em up with a nice 9 mil Glock. Too heavy for a toddler?  How ’bout a nice Saturday Night Special?  To cliche?  I don’t know, why not just go a few miles out of town, like they do in Chicago, and buy one at a gun show?  Yeah, let’s check the many (infinite), gun shows all over the nation, slipping through them “liberal” weak gun law loopholes like a slimy, unethical, corporate lobbyist slips through one of many laws designed to curb the corruption of public officials, wink, wink, nudge, nudge…  I say arm the entire school!  Everybody gets a gun!  That way, when we done shot everybody up, we’ll know who the bad guy is.”

That got a lot of play on “The View”, with many in the audience most likely getting sick to their collective stomachs.  At least Donald Trump does not sound like a crazy person.  Brash, pompous and bombastic yes, but crazy?  Perhaps Jeb is waiting for Trump to slip, but one does not get the feeling he will.  Nor will Ohio Governor John Kasich, who looks the most reasonable out of the bunch.  He would be a good VP nod if it were not so scripted by Carly. Florida Senator Marco Rubio also rising, but considered ‘a lightweight’ by front runner Trump.  In fact, the first Republican 2016 presidential bumper sticker on Cape Cod, as witnessed by your humble reporter, had his name on it.

Yet, tragically, the heavy topics of the day–such as Russia’s bold military move into Syria, bombing what looks like ‘Free Syrian Rebels’, creating high tension in the region (what could go wrong?), or the U.S. major malfunction in Afghanistan, with the military killing 22 at a Doctors’ Without Borders hospital, many calling it a war crime with those doctors demanding an independent investigation, or the growing problem of climate change, as evidenced in the wicked flooding (still going on), in South Carolina, or growing unsustainable GRAND CANYON gap between the haves and the have nots in this WORLD–will not be redressed with any logic or compassion, thus, blocking any reasonable solution. All due to policy powered through the government(s), via shadowy interests living in the dark.  Indeed, why would any of these come up in the conversation?  Scarcity is a friend to PROFIT, so say:

What can one say about Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders? Democratic challenger to Hillary Clinton.  The unions in this country must have a smile on their collective bargaining faces.  In fact those unions that made this country great, a FACT, have taken a beating over the course of this shady ‘New World Order’ coup, none so glaringly as in the great state of Wisconsin, where miraculously Governor Scott Walker is still ‘in charge’.  Thankfully not running for president anymore though.  The new democratic approach “Bernie” is taking to revive the Constitutional Right of people to form unions is all over the airwaves and WILL be noticed by the vast majority of working folk in this great land.  For how else will WE get a fair shake? The effect unions have on society is enormous, none so much as the creation of collective bargaining; forcing livable wages, health care and other essential benefits these greedy companies can most assuredly afford. When people are well fed, safe, secure, and hopeful about the future only good things can happen, and that only enhances the lives of everyone, including those at the top. Can the Republican party not SEA the writing on the wall?

WE shall witness the rebirth of this outstanding nation, mostly due to what Pope Francis calls a Miracle for Mankind, namely this here “Internet”.  A series of tubes, as it was explained to me, releasing Truth and LIGHT for the ENTIRE World to Judge and thus, Act upon for the greater good. All deeds done according to their Principals, not one’s shoved down their throat by FOX ‘news’, some hate shock jock radio a$$hole, or some schmuck corporate CEO, whose ring you not only have to kiss, but adhere to his/her outdated ‘moral compass’.  Perhaps never realizing ‘the employee’ is nothing more than a man or woman controlled by big banks, enveloped within the FOG of the ‘Fractional Reserve Banking System’, a cunning system that controls Labor by controlling the money supply, i.e. the Federal Reserve, as ‘Federal’ as Federal Express…  A system that has economic slavery at the core of it’s business model.  All hail Zod, ever bowing down to the new, or old, religion of choice for this ‘free market system’, ‘the economy’, worshiped far more than the man whose sins he died for.  Indeed, give it up for the monetary-market system, creating money out of thin air, 9 times that air right boys?  In this fractional reserve banking system, it’s weapon of choice is DEBT (or a loan), and the ammunition is accrued INTEREST.   For the interest owed, payed in money, will always be higher than the supply of money on the street, keeping society, mostly working poor, in a perpetual debt cyle, thus, controlling the money supply controls that cheap labor, growing cheaper by the day…

Great to be with you and yours, all enjoying this perfect Fall day on a sand bar created naturally 11,500 years ago by retreating glaciers during the “Last Great Ice Age”, an age that this planet will not SEA in OUR lifetimes…

That’s right, it’s October the Sixth, 2015, a Tuesday to be sure, although perhaps this whole ‘time/space’ continuum is given too much attention, rarely giving the Present moment a passing glance…  For this is truly all a dream, and we are simply all experiencing the same ONE but from that different perspective…

The BIG picture has and always will be Love.  Love is what sustained ALL of us when we were helpless babies, for without that force of goodness, we would most assuredly perish.  Love is a Force that cannot be seen by the naked human eye, much like the magnetic field enshrouding the Earth like a protective blanket.  Or gravity, “…or cinch bugs, magnesium, or nitrogen…, some people don’t even know what ‘dat means.” (credit Bill Murray, once again, from the classic 1980 film, “Caddyshack”, also starring Ted Knight, Rodney Dangerfield, Chevy Chase, and Dr. Beeper…).

All this hot air brought by bought political figures spouting nonsense non-stop now, like a run away train filled with mental patients.  All of it only adding to Man’s massive Carbon footprint unto a planet desperately in need of some CPR.  Of course, that won’t get any play in 2016 will it?  We can’t even figure out how to keep the masses from finally figuring out the rigged/immoral nature of the U.S./World fractional reserve banking system.

Indeed, the aforementioned state is in a state of emergency at this juncture, North Carolina feeling just as soaked, as are many other locales up and down the Atlantic coast, all suffering from this on flow of moisture streaming in from the construction sight over yonder? “…I’m going to slap an injunction on them so fast it will make their head spin, meanwhile, you, you better get rid of those gophers, or I’ll be looking for a new head greens-keeper, savvy?’ (credit the late, great Ted Knight, from the often quoted film-circa 1980-“Caddyshack”).

The metaphorical ‘construction sight’ of modern convenience.  Man forgetting he is connected and ONE with ALL that is around him.  He is a part of, not apart from. He and his brethren, rich or poor, black or white, is ever ONE with the one and only Universal Consciousness. One with the natural order of that Universe and everything LIVING in it.  When he is out of balance with nature, the Wilderness, and of the animals, plants, birds, trees and whales therein, he is lost. His lust of money (the root of all evil), has exposed his folly therein, wreaking havoc on the environment day in and day out, destroying this earth for profit and darkening future generations’ hopes, dreams, and overall quality of life.  The huddled, bullied masses quieted and herded with loud opiates; bright, shiny objects to entertain, lo, to hypnotize and put to sleep, and upon ‘awakening’ do all over again, being lulled by the “new world order” to believe ‘there is nothing to SEA here folks!’  Move along and buy some more of our crap.  Keeping people passive and malleable, gullible and ignorant, so that one day, there will be no more environment to ‘complain’ about.

Those FOX viewers, many of them, left twisting in the ever increasing winds of OUR ‘time’…

Our never ending hunger for MORE is being mirrored by the Mother to us all, planet EARTH.  As this reporter scrolled up and down the ‘top stories’ the other day on the old ROKU, with Donald Trump getting a whole block, right next to Pope Francis, something caught my attention on the ‘weather block’: ‘flash flooding in Iceland; melting glaciers cause havoc’. Perhaps some relatively intelligent information for once on NBC, or was that CBS, ABC?  FOX?  “Bueller?  Bueller?  Anybody”…? (credit the 1985 film “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off”, starring Mathew Broderick, Ben Stein and Mia Sara).

Clicking on the “clip”, wait for it, one discovers an ‘on the scene’ clip.  The poor man’s Leer jet, for there is ‘ner a human to be seen.  Just a video tape where no reporter is involved so you know it was one of the lowest priority pieces in the whole NBC arsenal.  Yes, it was simply a guy filming the evidence of this coming cataclysm most reporters are turning a blind eye to these days, not by choice mind you, by necessity of eating and having a place to live…  No doubt the young man or woman using his new I-phone 777 video camera, so as to save the network a buck or two.  Anything for them stockholders!  You betcha!  Penny pinching to the end, you know, barely covering the most important story of OUR time on this little blue rock.

A silent film of what appeared to be the end of the world.  Epic waters in no man’s land, haunting waters rushing down a growing gray stream, witnessing the death of yet another ancient glacier on this beautiful blue earth we all share.  All occurring NOW somewhere on soot spoiled, blackened ice sheet; “Death of the Glacier” on a dark and stormy day in the great country of Iceland.  Swollen streams of water ever flowing NOW from the retreating, melting, crying glaciers world wide, waters that must NOW flow somewhere…  Streams of water, evolving into wide rivers that turn into a giant torrents of the same stuff that just fell on South Carolina,

…and still is!

Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the sun dripped, cool, very breezy island of Nantucket! Great to be with you and yours on this glorious Sunday morning here at the Hyannis/Hyannis Port Waterfront(s)–the Fourth Day of October, 2015–another great day to be alive! What else can one say on a day such as this?  Although if one were to tune in on the old TV machine (credit Rachel Maddow of “TRMS“, on MSNBC, OK?), on any given Sunday, one would find the boring, exhausting, mind numbing, controlled, painfully advertised with said relievers of PAIN, scripted, predictable, un-informing, biased, fear based, scarcity based, oil based, corporate based, never ending talk shows that bring one down to the level of wanting to overdose on a vat of single malt scotch, Ambien or perhaps graduating to some fine CIA crack cocaine…, yes, one would find said ‘talk’ shows providing the echo in a chamber that no one is listening to in the first place.

Michael Moore, the ‘infamous’ documentary film maker who (again), made headlines when he wrote the book, “Downsize This”–the real life horror story of what was happening to the middle class and working poor in this nation–has not made a movie in a little while, but his original message about Flint, Michigan and the dying auto industry in and around Detroit has, unlike that city, not died.  What is really going on with the typical American worker that politicians’ speak of so often when attempting to get elected into public office, speaking of ever creating ‘new jobs’, oh, and do you speak Mandarine Chinese?

Corporations began leaving the U.S. en masse during the 80’s and 90’s, bleeding into this young 21st century, and they will not be coming back any time soon, at least not when the only duty a group of people at  the top have to this country it seems is to fleece it as best they can before dropping it off in a poisoned fracking fluid ditch.  Leaving a gaping hole that is now represented by this GRAND CANYON gap between those who live on Park Avenue and those who live in any street Centralia, PA.  A nice quiet town where the good folks got the shaft when “Pay Day” candy bars decided to pay workers in Mexico instead of them, pay them far less money to produce the very tasty treat   Many studies suggest that a loss in a job is much like a death in the family, and with no job prospects out there, alcoholism, domestic abuse, divorce, suicide, poor health in general, all of those things sky rocket, as property values diminish and all of the remaining businesses dry up.  Including the Walmart, who can’t sell any of the (sweat shop created), cheap crap that ran all the mom and pop stores into the ground in the first place, ’cause those poor folks who are starving and possibly living in their car, will most likely not be in the market for a plastic truck for their kid this Christmas, a toy whose ‘cost’ at it’s fine, ‘upstanding’, wink, wink, nudge, nudge, ‘factory store’ in China was precisely 18 cents to create, and then of course, ‘in the American way’?, selling it back to the now cash poor citizens of Centralia for $14.95, all while paying it’s overall, hourly, 28 hours a week (considered “full-time” work), work force a non living wage of 7 bucks an hour.

Published in the mid-90’s, the work centered on the FACT we all know now to be normal, and look at that Dow go!, the new and improved, you know, for your 401(k) shell game, ‘business as usual’, i.e. jobs being shipped overseas so the massive corporate conglomerates can make more and more MONEY for their ’stockholder’ to whom they have a fiduciary “responsibility”, just as it was written in U.S. Constitution?  I’m sure I mean corporate charter.  The glaring reality being that those who own most if not all of the stock are those who OWN the company to begin with, and therefore, it would stand to reason that they and they alone, will stand to make the most of the soaring profit therein.  Concentrated wealth mankind has not seen since the days of Julius Caesar.

Michael exposed this fact (”…today, now more than ever!”), to adoring fans all over the country in a book tour in that year of 1997, an actual book tour, with him giving lectures, comedy acts, interviews, all while secretly filming (to keep “Borders’ Books” off his back), with unbelievable footage of him stepping into the Lion’s Den, i.e. Procter and Gamble, the evil overlords of “Pay Day” candy bars, naming it, ‘The Big One’.

His message was heard loud and clear.  Both those who hate him, and especially to those who Love him! The reality of ‘downsizing’ companies.  Ruined LIVES. A trend becoming EPIC.  With the top 10 percent of ‘earners’ (an old mob term), in the US possessing 76% of the pie.  And now you have presidential hopefuls like Donald Trump touting just what the Illuminate wish for, a tax plan that would not only bankrupt the country, but leave the top 1% taking home 21% more every year, with the bottom 90% (Wal-Mart employees), taking in 1% more.  Upside down, resulting in down and out…

When George W. Bush took office in 2000, it was his turn to do the Master’s bidding.  First off, cut taxes for the rich, and that is exactly what happened.  In 2001 and in 2003, ‘W’ slashed them taxes by gosh, by golly! For all the Park Avenue types, for guys like David Koch and his brother to the tune of 1.4 Trillion added to the national debt.  Monies owned to the banking cartel.  Get the picture?

Add to that the two disastrous wars that fed the military industrial complex, warned of by then U.S. President Dwight D. Eisenhower in 1960, but bankrupted the country ever further, to the tune of 4.1 Trillion.  And then the sweet deal with big pharma, another 1 Trillion, add in all the other corporate subsidies that corporations get year in and year out, in 2006 92 billion went out to those poor corporations, with social programs designed to help real, live people, our brothers and sisters, half that, yeah, can you SEA where this is headed?

These corporations have taken over many sectors of this government, by way of proxy, by way of lobby rather, thus, have roped what could have been good, decent law makers into sniveling dogs for money.  For with the advent of “Citizens United” in 2010, there is no honor in this profession any longer, save a guy like Bernie! A 30 second spot could wipe you out, especially if it is played over and over again on that “TV machine” or on the many other, countless, electronic distractions, i.e. one’s “mobile device”, and with the modern Madison Avenue wizard blasting that crack like noise, light and radiation into one’s brain 24/7, any psychologist or shaman worth his or her salt would tell you that easily manipulated masses tend to be fascinated with bright, shiny objects, preferably loud, plutocratic, and patronizing, parental figures who don’t make much sense, but hate the same people you do…

Like our pal and all round good guy, Donald, “…they love me out here in the sticks, who knew? I’ll be here all week folks, please don’t forget to tip your waitresses, they work hard for their money, I’m telling you’, I…” Trump, who is keeping it real by keeping the circus energized, at least until another good stiff wind from the North via the coming storm, lifts that tent skyward, high, high into the air, where one may finally discover just how that blue bird got over that ‘dang rainbow.

Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the cool, raw, howling wind/rain swept island of Nantucket! Great to be with you and yours on this wonderful weather day up and down the east coast of the United States of America, Friday, October the Second, 2015.  Mid-morning here at the Hyannis/Hyannis Port Waterfront(s), the wind and rain are beginning to pick up, as Hurricane Joaquin roars up the Atlantic seaboard, expecting to create chaos in the great states of North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, Massachusetts, and Downeast Maine, after which it will take much of that current category 4 punch out to SEA…

These wicked winds are mirrored in the halls of our hallowed U.S. Congress these days.  A cracker jack body of do nothing blowhards, after spewing a lot of patronizing hot air Jon Stewart’s way, did nothing to renew the Zadroga Act–the bill that was finally passed by Congress in 2010 to help pay the medical bills for First Reponder’s of the attacks in New York City, September 11th, 2001.  Even after he rallied outside of Capitol Hill, screaming at Congress to get the Zadroga Act renewed (the 4.3 billion dollar price tag for helping those thousands of firemen, police, EMT’s, nurses, doctors and other emergency personnel who suffered acute health problems as a direct result of breathing in and being around all of that toxic dust thrown up by the mysterious, malicious attack on the World Trade Center Towers in 2001; Tower 7 falling on it’s own apparently…), and as of this moment, the bill to renew this vital health insurance has died along with many who suffered before a humane health care supplement was in originally passed in 2010.

Jon Stewart, of “Daily Show” fame (now retired and living the good life in New Jersey, good luck with that hurricane brother!), is to be applauded (once again), for doing what so many others in this great patriotic nation should be doing.  Demanding WE do the right thing by our men and women who literally put their LIFE on the line to help their fellow man, many saving lives along the way.  Using people’s health and well being (their peace of mind being the most important), as a carrot to pass some other legislation is not only immoral, it borders on the sociopath.

The reality of that horrible day is etched into most American memory banks (those old enough to comprehend terror on “the TV”), ever remembering the day then U.S. President George W. Bush stood on all of that toxic dust, armed with a megaphone, the great symbol of OUR day, and stated loud and clear that not only would we get “them terrorists”, but that WE would make sure everyone was cared for in the aftermath of such a tragedy.  Or did I make that up?  Such a senseless, needless, waste of human life, promise and future dreams of those who perished that day, that is what, along with those who helped that day, that, that is what WE won’t forget…

All WE can do ‘at this juncture’ is make sure those who helped out and suffered as a direct result of said attack, are offered, given, graciously, the same courtesy.

Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the still soggy, cooling and misty island of Nantucket! Great to be with you on yours on this 1st day of October, 2015, a chilly Thursday, late morning here at the Hyannis/Hyannis Port Waterfront(s). Here’s hoping all the folks up in Maine dried out after a record amount of tropical moisture poured down from the skies yesterday, dumping massive amounts of water all up and down the eastern seaboard, with a cold front right on it’s heals, and perhaps a hurricane as well…

With the 2016 election cycle not slowing down one iota, rather, picking up pace, Sea Cape Cod would like to look back at 2012 for just a moment in ‘time’. After viewing the documentary film entitled “Mitt”, this simple reporter felt compelled to make a few comments regarding the man who lost to OUR very fine 44th U.S. President Barack Obama, who has, under no false illusions, done an outstanding job as this nation’s Commander-in-Chief over the course of the past seven years or thereabouts.  After reviewing the work, one must come the conclusion that this honest, bright, warm family man would have made a good president, it was just his polices that were in question.

As the country hurdles towards yet again pivotal election come November of 2016–the 45th President of the United States, and indeed every other world leader on Earth, will be faced with epic problems the human race (and every other form of LIFE on the planet), has ever experienced, seen or dealt with before, i.e. the coming cataclysm of GLOBAL WARMING–one must look back at our most recent history to get a clue as to where WE may be headed.

For make no mistake about it.  The Republican brand of ‘no new tax pledges’, via plutocratic puppet/henchman Grover Norquist, and the blindness of most every other policy position that favors the status quo of this rigged monetary-market system is not sustainable for this country and the world at large.  Unless, the whole point of this greedy exercise is to destroy the very Mother that gave US milk.

Mitt’s (Mitt Romney, 2012 U.S. Republican nominee for president), story was touching in many ways. Utah, Michigan, Massachusetts, both home as well, so there was a commonality there, and if I were a betting man, I would lay down “10,000 bucks” he and I both agree that in both locales the ‘trees are all the right height’! He must Love the Wilderness as much as this author does, the very reason for this odd, and I am sure to many people annoyingly daily ‘message in a bottle’ from a popular sand bar on the southern New England coastline.  Mitt has many other fine traits, none so much as the way he treats his wife (God Bless her!), the fact he is a gentleman, most clearly loves and has great compassion for his big family, and the fact he loves this country as much as his father did, something a president must have locked deep in his or her heart.  Not to mention his Faith, which is both admirable and honored.  The problem with his political philosophy is simply the problem with the philosophy of our ‘Civilization’ as a whole in this early part of the 21st century.

It is true that 47 percent of people in this country do not pay income tax.  Hence Mitt’s downfall, as that was caught on tape back in that same year he lost the general election.  However, the real question is why don’t they pay ‘they’re fair share of taxes’? Because the wealthy plutocrats/oligarchs/industrialists who have created this ’system’ in their fancy, have sold this country down the river without a paddle.  Globalization is just another word for cheap labor, hence, more profit. Corporations like GE and many, many others pay nothing in Federal corporate income tax, via loopholes one could drive a Mack Truck through the center of, moreover, the majority of those making the big bucks are paying 25%, while their secretaries pay 38%, because their ‘compensation’ is coming from yet another loophole those working at Burger King are not invited to participate in.  Although, one must query, ‘…how many folks working those slave wage jobs ($7.25 an hour), yes, how many of those poor slobs are investing their vast funds wisely?  Indeed, are they using their stock options to the peak efficiency of return?’  Obviously they don’t have my broker, or my lawyer.’

The fact that most corporations are GLOBAL in scale now, no minnows left in the deep, big, blue SEA, only us sharks, yes, with the vast majority of world commerce so tightly wrapped in a riddle, enveloped by an enigma–some would say delivered by the Devil himself–one must wonder out loud if man has any hope at all.  Mitt looked the part all right, down to the same darn clothes I wear.  But something was missing.  Like it is for this next grouping of Republicans, for if this nation were to elect a Republican to take the helm of a massive bureaucratic machine like the United States of America–most tax money bubble wrapped up in Homeland Security/Military Industrial Complex, not “Planned Parenthood” that helps poor women in poor areas of the country with basic female health issues sir!–it would not be long before the country was completely drained of money, it’s citizenry left to fend for themselves, with no jobs, no education, no health care, no retirement, no social safety nets, no mercy of any kind, lo, left to starve and twist in the ever growing winds of our ‘time’ on this precious planet that WE, the human race, are destroying daily for short term bloody PROFIT.

If you can square that with your maker Mitt, then you are a better man than I.  Mankind has an biblical challenge ahead, not only with human caused climate change, but with this growing gap between those with ungodly sums of ‘money’, and those who live in the mud, with little to no food, no clean water and no hope of any kind.  We all came from the mud, and it looks like that is where mankind is headed back to if do not wake up and embrace the change technology and a greater Universal Consciousness gives US ALL.

I put it to you Mitt, is this the kind of world we want to leave OUR children?  For we are ALL children of GOD. Not just those who attended ACS Cobham, Surrey or Phillips Academy; Andover, Massachusetts. Corporations are nothing more than a thought.  They do not possess a soul and do not have a voice in a democracy with that little letter ‘d’… No more so than does a ghost.  And yet, the pesky ghosts of Paul Revere, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Paine, Benjamin Franklin and George Washington are whispering through the willows to this not your grandfather’s GOP,

“…you’re killing us over here!”

God Bless Mitt and Ann Romney and his Family for going through that gauntlet almost three years ago.  It must have been exhausting. Sea Cape Cod wishes you only the best.  Go Blue!

Take a look into the future people of America!  In the immortal words of Chevy Chase–via an oft mentioned film circa 1980, a date in ‘time’ some say marked the final construction of this massive GRAND CANYON gap between the haves and the have nots in the ‘New World Order‘; “Caddyshack”–
