Balcony Bully

Filed under: Blog — Michael @ 7:38 pm

Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the now dark, cold, starry skied island of Nantucket! Great to be with you on this Friday evening, the 31st day of January, 2014, a quiet evening as the nation took in what President Barack Obama offered Tuesday evening at the State of the Union address in Washington D.C., a ray of hope in raising the minimum wage and perhaps someday replacing the oligarchical thirty year economic policies of Ronald Reagan’s failed ‘trickle down’ economic voodoo doo doo, where the top one percent in this great nation has seen it’s wealth increase by 243 percent while during the same time period the bottom ninety percent have seen their wages stagnate even with productivity going through the roof…  No matter, not when we have the tea party/republican response to apparently threaten to toss all the reporters asking pesky questions regarding their behavior in public and in private, yes, threaten to toss them off the balcony, three stories below, but before they do, they are going to “…break you like a little boy”.  Give me a break Congressman Grimm, I know Chris Christie and you sir are no Chris Christie.  Yes, it turns out this is not such a quiet night after all.  For a bombshell was dropped a few hours ago by the New York Times regarding the lane closure saga of the George Washington Bridge and the Governor of New Jersey’s possible involvement in said scandal.  It turns out that Christie appointee to the Port Authority, David Wildstein, who you will remember was the official who “got it” (the order allegedly via Wildstein that “time for some traffic problems in Fort Lee” came directly from the Christie Administration and that Bridget Anne Kelly was simply passing a message on from, well, on high…), yes, that official’s lawyer sent a letter to said Port Authority stating it would appreciate reviewing their position on paying for his legal fees, as he might just have somethin’ somethin’ he may want to share with them, i.e. real hard proof in the form of evidence refuting Christie’s statement on January 9th where in a 2 hour press conference, one that he painted himself into a tight corner, claiming, “I was shocked at the abject stupidity”, or “I was saddened to find out”, or “I was blindsided by the whole thing”, “I had no knowledge of these lane closures”, and so on and so forth for over two bloody hours, I know, seacapecod.net was there by God!  So there you go, bottom line, who ya gonna call, “Ghostbusters!” (hash tag John Dean and the 1970’s Nixon Watergate break in, where the coverup brought down a U.S. presidency). On the eve of the eve before Superbowl XXXXVIII, with the Denver Broncos, my old home town and birthplace, not to mention my grandpa’s favorite team, doing battle against the Seattle, a great town, Seahawks, a powerful, scrappy team with a better defense and running game, thus a better chance of winning the game, yes, on this Friday night, say a little prayer for the NJ Governor, for as bad as it looks, tomorrow is just a few days away.  Have a safe and happy Superbowl week end folks and may the best team win.  PRESERVE THE WILDERNESS! Frozen ‘State’…

Filed under: Blog — Michael @ 10:02 am

Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the rather balmy, at present, soon to be frozen once again, island of Nantucket! Great to be with you on this Monday, the 27th day of January, 2014, a cool, cloudy day here at the Hyannis Waterfront, looking forward to yet another Alberta Clipper and much colder temperatures, as the Polar Vortex makes another swoop down as far as Florida, with Wilmington, North Carolina expecting up to a foot of snow, perhaps more on the Outer Banks.  Quite a January indeed.  In less than 36 hours the President of the United States, Barack Obama, will offer this young nation the traditional “State of the Union” address on Capitol Hill in Washington D.C.  In this “year of action” the 44th president faces some tough opposition, dare I say OBSTRUCTION, once again from our friends on the right, whose mission has been to block any common sense policies this president has thrown out there to get millions back to work, as WE take a good hard look at income inequality across the board in the new year.  It is no secret that the GRAND CANYON gap between the haves and the have nots has grown exponentially in the past forty years or so, with that inequality higher than it was during the Gilded Age, the 1920’s, right up to the GREAT DEPRESSION, bringing the nation back to balance under one of our greatest presidents of all time, Franklin Delano Roosevelt. The trend began in the seventies, was stoked in the eighties by another popular president, Ronald Reagan, who famously pushed the theory of trickle down economics, which has proven to be a RED HERRING, as the top one percent’s income has risen by 274 percent in this ‘time’ period we are speaking of here (the top .001 percent doing even better, with 85 of the richest people in the world having as much or more wealth than the poorest 3.5 billion people, or half the world’s population), while the bottom 90 percent of regular working folks have seen their wages remain frozen or actually go down, with the minimum wage far below what it should be if it were adjusted for inflation, as those who work for minimum wage might as well be living in the sixties, ’cause that’s how much they are really making, not a living wage for the 21st Century.  And this statistic based on IF they can find a job, as manufacturing dries up with more of that on the way, as the ‘fast track’ is being pushed for a very controversial trade agreement, many are calling NAFTA on steroids, the TPP, or ‘trans-pacific partnership’, where critics contend that if passed, by an up or down vote in congress no less, it will harm U.S. workers even more, with even more jobs going oversees, for that is where the cheap labor resides.  The policies the law makers have put forward over these past few decades, as economist/author/professor David Cay Johnston points out in his new book, “The Fine Print”, ARE the problem, many of them TAX issues.  To quote the fine law professor from the great Syracuse University and author of “Free Lunch”, Perfectly Legal” and the aforementioned new book, “The Fine Print”, stay warm Rochester, New York!, “…the average increase in real income reported by the bottom 90% of earners in 2011, compared with 1966, if measured by one inch, would extend almost five miles for the top one percent of the top one percent.”  To further the professor’s point, “…Incomes and tax revenues have grown from 2009 to 2011 as the economy recovered, but an astonishing 149 percent of the increased income went to the top 10 percent of earners.  If you wonder how that can happen, the answer is simple:  Incomes fell for the bottom 90 percent.  The top 1 percent enjoyed 81 percent of all the increased income since 2009.  Just over half of the gains went to the top one-tenth of 1 percent, and 39 percent of the gains went to the top 1 percent of the top one percent.”  Put that in your pipe and smoke it Senator!  With the crumbling lower education systems (urban deserts) and expensive, ever rising higher education for our children, you can clearly see how the rich continue on with the march up that ‘Stairway to Heaven’ and the poor cannot penetrate the “Orange Curtain”, keeping the masses down and begging for food, as the top one percent get all the breaks, hand outs (subsidies/corporate/taxes) and political favors that grant them immunity from the will of the free market, a free market that is ever rigged in their favor.  Corporate lobbyists now own most of the congress, with organizations like ALEC, the ‘American Legislative Exchange Council’ calling most of the shots on the Hill.  Sure, these guys and gals draft actual bills, working side by side with the law makers, many times doing all of the work, and upon completion, said congressman sign the bill into law, a new corporate law, without changing ‘ner a comma…  How can one man compete against that?  This President is up against a party, the crazy fake grass roots, corporate tea party, who is hell bent on repealing the ACA with God knows what, we will find out today, a party obsessed with abortion and women’s reproductive systems, paging Dr. Sugar (otherwise known as “uncle sugar”)!, paging Dr. Sugar! (Huckawho?), and a party that no longer believes in a nation where opportunity is not a joke, but a promise kept…hence, the problem of a rigged, outdated system that only serves the richest of the rich, while it dehumanizes that plight of the poor, all in the name of God himself!  Praise the Lord Senator, praise the Lord!  This is a story about monsters, huge sea monsters called global corporations, who have proven, right bp?, that they will continue to use the earth as an open sewer, while they pull in record profits, giving nothing back to the country and the people who helped them get there.  Pity that.  Just ask the CEO of Walmart (always lower slave wages), he’ll tell ya!  Although he can’t be reached right now, he is still taking in some skiing in Davos, Switzerland.  Greed gone wild with a hint of gluttony, sloth and narcissistic self promoting glory that makes one want to vomit immediately upon receipt.  No where else is this PROFIT over PEOPLE more evident than in the energy biz.  You see companies like Exxon-Mobil and Koch Industries are making so much on our lands one would need a PhD in mathematics to calculate all of that ill found wealth.  Take FRACKING for example.  The new found source of energy in shale rock, ‘natural gas’, is all the rage, as one more well goes up in the good ‘ole US of A.  If you were to take a map and review just how many of these DIRTY wells there really are, you would be shocked, as Erin Brockovich pointed out on Bill Maher’s HBO must see “Real Time, with Bill Maher” this past Friday night with a map that showed the United States and all of the filthy wells therein.  You can’t see the map, just the wells.  This process of FRACKING is horrible and will result in water problems in the not too distant future (both the problem of poisoned water nationwide, as well as a lack of water, say in the U.S. southwest, where the drought in California is taking it’s toll on the citizens of the Golden State…still think global warming is a hoax Senator Inhofe, you maniac pilot from the great state of Oklahoma?), for you see the 596 deadly chemicals they use for this attainment, very profitable gain of natural gas is not regulated, AT ALL.  The chemicals are off limits to the toothless EPA and with one more well going up this hour, you may as well kiss New York City’s famous restaurant water goodbye forever!  We are effectively allowing these large monied interests to supersede OUR interests as a people in general.  Doing this by divide and conquer methods, banking on the ignorance and short attention span of the general population all while knowing that money talks and bull$hit walks, as they buy one elected official after the other, eventually buying the elections all together and turning this once proud democracy, a beautiful thing, into a plutocracy, or rule by the wealthy, can you say “Hunger Games”, sure, I knew that you could.  We need to stand up collectively as a country and state LOUDLY and CLEARLY that WE are not turning the clock back on voting rights, women’s rights, gay rights, minority rights, environmental rights and all forms of CIVIL RIGHTS, as we fight for JUSTICE, the fruits of which always being PEACE.  Have a wonderful day and week ahead folks and may God be with the President tomorrow evening, God’s Speed Mr. President, God’s Speed!  PRESERVE THE WILDERNESS! Peace~M

Big, Dirty Snowmen…

Filed under: Blog — Michael @ 11:57 am

Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the frigid, blizzard conditions at present, island of Nantucket! Great to be with you at this nine a.m. hour, a snowy Wednesday, the 22nd day of January, 2014.   Looking out my window I can barely make out the lights surrounding the Steamship Authority ships here on the Hyannis Waterfront–the snow falling at two inches per hour, with wind gusts upwards of fifty miles per hour, thirty knots sustained, resulting in blizzard conditions and dangerous wind chills, sending the thermometer well below zero.  A little north of us, on the south shore of Boston, the good folks of say Marshfield and Cohassett will be digging out of at least 18 inches of powder, leaving most in the region with the day off…how ’bout some snowmen?  Well, if you insist.  The class of Governors in 2009 included Chris Christie of New Jersey and Bob McDonald of Virginia.  Both republican and both in hot water, or, like in Frosty’s case, trapped in a greenhouse, with all of the facade melting away before our very eyes.  Unlike Frosty however, neither one of these snowmen are made of Christmas snow, no sir, nor are they going to be rescued by Santa Claus…they are made of a different kind of snow altogether.  In a new age of instant media vigilance and voracity, especially for a juicy political story, it is not a surprise these two scandals (Christie’s being one of possible abuse of power, as he is being investigated for several things, one being the famous George Washington Bridge lane closures and another perhaps even more damaging case, all being reviewed now by a super committee made up of four republicans and eight democrats who are legislators in the either the New Jersey Senate or House; not to mention the U.S. Attorney Fishman, as well as the man who brought justice to that Senator from Chicago, remember him?/McDonald’s being one of accepting lavish gifts while he was in office and not reporting them, a federal offense that could land he and his wife in jail for twenty years no less) were born from the behavior of both men and moreover the arrogance therein, not to mention of course possessing the ability to snow many, many people.  And so, on a day just like today, same storm, Janus I believe Al Roker and the Weather Channel coined her, slammed dunked the inauguration of Chris Christie, casting an ominous, darkened cloud over the proceedings, enough so that it cancelled the party slated for Ellis Island, surprisingly, partly in New Jersey airspace.  The speech given was, as one reporter claimed, “…like the speech he gave when he won reelection only nine weeks ago, leaving the controversy(s) behind him as if that is where they are in reality, as the subpoenas begin to fly, upwards of twenty now.  Couple that with the story Steve Kornacki broke (”UP, with Steve Kornacki”, every weekend, eight a.m. sharp, only on said MSNBC) on this past Saturday morning with the mayor of Hoboken coming forward on his show stating that the Lieutenant Governor took her aside at an opening of a new ‘Shoprite’ back in May of 2013 and said, and I paraphrase only slightly here, “…Can I speak to yous a moment in private?  Yeah, see, ‘da governor would be happy to give you ‘dat 100 million, you know the fed money from Obama for the Sandy relief, but you gotta do that ‘ting we was talking about, you know, ‘dat ‘ting.”  Zimmerman, the mayor of Hoboken responded, “…you mean you want me to rubber-stamp David Sampson’s law firms’ representing Rockefeller Inc.’s mammoth mulit-billion dollar redevelopment project in the north end of my town, you mean ‘dat ‘ting”.  “No, I mean ‘da udder ‘ting, yeah I mean ‘dat ‘ting, exactly, you, you, I’m gonna be seeing a whole lotta you, your good you, you, youuuu!!”… (credit the classic film, circa 1999, “Analyze This”, starring Robert De Niro and Billy Crystal, directed by Harold Ramis). To wit the poor mayor, who has nothing to gain here (imagine being her!) was put between a rock and a hard place, until she was visited by the U.S Attorney on that Sunday during a national holiday, hmmmm.  This is not presidential behavior.  “Carmine, I don’t think it’s right that you (the Mayor) extort money from the University (for your parade)”…. “If you mention the word extortion again, I’ll have your legs broken.” (credit the classic 1978 film, “Animal House”, starring Karen Allen and the late, great John Belushi–you will remember the striking resemblance of “Mayor Carmine’s” personality with someone else we all know.  Carmine being a rather thuggish bully, dare I say gangster like political power man in the fake upstate New York college that the film was set in, with the Dean of “Faber College”, pleading with that man to stop with the strong arm tactics already).  Bob’s crime was getting caught, as this is not really news.  Just yesterday we saw the numbers on global capitalism gone wild, with 85 of the richest people in the world having more wealth, it has been calculated, than 3.5 billion people, roughly half the population of the world!  You don’t think all of that wealth “trickles down” to the lowly representatives, puppets many of them, who call themselves congressmen and senators, willing, able and ready to do their master’s bidding. i.e. keeping the status quo while working to eliminate government or to quote Grover Norquist, “…shrink it (government) down to the size where we could drown it in the bathtub.”–?  The top one percent in this union have more wealth than 45 percent of this county’s people and as the nation toys with the idea of “fast tracking” these new trade ‘agreements’, like the TPP, we better read the fine print.  For this is globalization on steroids.  If this trade agreement, and one like it for the Atlantic Ocean, passes the congress with either an up or down vote, gee why that?, and no amendments, it spreads it’s cancerous tentacles into every aspect of our lives, from destroying our already fragile manufacturing renaissance, to reeking even more havoc on our poor environment, while it drives down wages even further, leaving the working hungry to become even hungrier. These nations that invade our space will ride well above the already lacking environmental regulations, regulations with no fu#$king teeth mind you, and bring problems that we can’t even fathom as of yet.  We may very well look into the future right now and see that the country’s water supply will become more and more poisonous, with every new FRACKING well allowed to violate OUR sacred land.  Dirty, filthy, rotten snowmen indeed.  Telling the good people of West Virginia that it’s “…OK to drink the water…”  Bull$hit Governor Mansion, Bull$hit.  Have a good day and week ahead folks and please be sure to tune out FOX “NEWS”, it is not a product for what “Ailes” ya!  PRESERVE THE WILDERNESS! Hail MLK!

Filed under: Blog — Michael @ 5:45 pm

Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the darkening, cold, soon to be snowy island of Nantucket! Great to be with you on this late Monday afternoon, the 20th day of January, 2014, a great day on Cape as we await an Alberta clipper that will coat the area with upwards of eight inches of the white stuff, same storm hitting Washington D.C. first where today is being highlighted in not only our nation’s capitol, but in every corner of this great country…the birthday of Martin Luther King, Jr. A man who represented the pinnacle of social Justice, as he and he alone, coupled with his FAITH, moved mountains of ignorance and hate, violence and the lack of the right to vote to that right to vote and pushing the racial divide in this country into the minds and hearts of the masses–white and black alike.  Although we have a long way to go in this union, there is no doubt that we have made many strides, thanks to MLK, as many if not most of our fellow citizens see that judging a person based upon the color of their skin, as opposed to the content of their character, is not only morally corrupt, but anti-”American”, especially if you are one of those tea party wack jobs who follow the words of our forefathers so closely, “…All men are created EQUAL“. Of course, due to the insanity of people who make their point with blood, the great man’s life was cut short because it fell short of sucking up with the conformity of the times, getting in line with the status quo, muttering to yourself, “…yeah, I can’t change the world.”  I doubt that MLK ever spent too much time in that obviously redundant thought, for history proved the answer was false, as that gentle leader of our modern times walked the talk of love, peace, tolerance, equality, social justice, perhaps most of all harmony amongst the races, where he dreamed dreams of little black boys holding hands with little white girls.  Yeah, love trumps all sir and wherever you are right now, please look down on us little human mortals and laugh, seeing just how stupid it really was to shut down a bridge in Jersey or hold natural disaster relief hostage over a big development deal (p.s. great job Steve Kornacki of MSNBC’s “UP, with SK”, you crazy tree huggin’ liberal from this great state of Massachusetts)!  God’s Speed MLK, God’s Speed! PRESERVE THE WILDERNESS! Peace~M

Blinding LIGHT.

Filed under: Blog — Michael @ 12:28 pm

Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the sunny, mild, almost spring like island of Nantucket! Great to be with you and yours on this Wednesday, the 15th day of January, 2014, Happy Birthday Melissa! and what a week it has been.  Since the last time we spoke, the Governor of New Jersey, Chris Christie, a republican, has been under the microscope regarding his involvement with the closing of lanes feeding onto the busiest bridge in the world, the George Washington, taking commuters, school children, first responders as well as commerce to and from Fort Lee, New Jersey to Manhattan, creating massive traffic headaches for a week in early September, 2013.  It has been quite the scandal, as it was pushed under the rug yesterday by the governor himself at his “State of the State” speech in New Jersey’s capital Trenton.  However, that does not stop the now federal and state investigations going forward for both this fiasco and for the possible misappropriation of funds by Christie for super storm Sandy relief that featured the republican and his family in “stronger than the storm” Ads right before the election.  Couple that with legislators in the state who are issuing subpoenas to the now infamous and unemployed ‘ring leader’ Bridget Anne Kelly, Christie’s deputy chief of staff, as well as Christie’s so called enforcer, political thug as it were, Bill Stepien, a now fired campaign manager who must have worked with Wildstein, who, as an appointee of Christie’s, (and a childhood friend) to the Port Authority, has already taken the fifth with his lawyer throwing in the caveat that, and I paraphrase only slightly here, “…if you offer my client immunity, you may just get the answers you are looking for.”  Wink, wink, nudge, nudge indeed counselor!  MSNBC has taken a good hard look at all of this, thanks Rachel, Lawrence, Ed, Steve K., Chris M., Reverend Al, Alex, Chris H., Thomas, Chris J., Melissa H.P., Andrea, the ‘kids’ at the Cycle, well, you get the point (Mika and Joe, you are either blindly loyal to Christie or ready for FOX & FRIENDS).  This has been quite a media circus that leads to some powerful questions above and beyond the bridge scandal, such as, “…do we want this kind of man in the White House?, someone who would take personal vengeance to a level that it actually hurts common citizens?  And what of his bullying temperament?”… Political payback is nothing new for New Jersey or many other states for that matter.  However, WE can clearly see that this is beyond the pale and brings into the pallet an almost “Dean” like Watergate taste to this whole sordid affair, a mess screaming COVERUP, and we all know that the coverup is far worse than the actual crime, President Nixon knew that all too well.  Therefore during the course of the next few weeks this country will find out the TRUTH as to what really transpired during the week of September 11th on the George Washington Bridge.  Of course, the right wing has blasted back with the usual suspects, suspects FOX NEWS would say ‘balance’ the whole thing, resurrecting “scandals” involving President Obama.  Benghazi, the IRS and “Fast and Furious” are the favorites, with close seconds being “Obamacare” (which is doing great by the way, with 24 percent, and rising, of the enrollees being 18-34, balancing the risk pool, critical for the ACA’s success), Obama’s birthplace, Obama’s ties to the Nazi party, Michelle Obama’s iron fisted reign over our right to eat as much sugar, salt and fat as we want, God dammit!, the total disregard for the unemployed, the total disdain for the poor and the continued restrictions on women’s reproductive rights not to mention cutting more regulation so that we can finally destroy our water sources forever via fracking for natural gas or putting a f#$king chemical plant, thanks Freedom Industries! on the Elk river in West Virginia, last inspected in 1991, so that it eventually leaks a dangerous chemical into said river, leaving 300,000 plus people without ANY running water for five days–a canary in the COAL mine if I have ever seen one by golly!  This is all very disturbing, but take a look at Charlotte, North Carolina for a moment and the growing problem of police violence, especially towards minorities.  A little while back, a promising young African American male was gunned down by an officer Kerrick of the Charlotte Police Department.  It seems this young man was in an accident, a car accident one evening and went to a house to get some help.  The woman who answered the door thought the man a robber so she called 911.  When the officers arrived (the tapes will show) the man was not armed; clearly no threat as he was only in need of some assistance.  Instead of helping him, officer Kerrick opened fire, killing the man while emptying the clip on his nine millimeter Glock, with all bullets’ trajectories pointed downward, proving he was shot in cold blood.  Add to that the fact the coroner had to take off the handcuffs that officer placed on him after he killed him, makes this a horrific crime that must see JUSTICE.  The mother of Jonathon Ferrell appeared on “Politics Nation” (Reverend Al Sharpton’s fine news program every week night at six p.m. eastern, only on MSNBC, p.s. this is not a paid Ad!) where she explained that because of her FAITH, she found it in her heart to forgive the police officer, quoting the Bible, “…vengeance is mine, sayeth the Lord”, asking only for JUSTICE for her son as this saga unfolds.  So perhaps, with the nation taking a hard look at this bridge scandal spanning the Hudson, we will see the error of Chris Christie’s ways. The ARC of Justice ever bends towards the good and the righteous–towards the LIGHT that IS the TRUTH.  A “truth” not as “you see it”, Governor, but as it IS, forever. Have a nice day and week end folks and keep it tuned to seacapecod.net, bringing the highlights of President Barack Obama’s State of the UNION soon, not to mention new revelations regarding this ongoing saga in the great state of New Jersey.  PRESERVE THE WILDERNESS! Traffic Study?

Filed under: Blog — Michael @ 6:29 pm

Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the sunny, still rather cold island of Nantucket! Great to be back with you on this late Thursday afternoon, the 9th day of January, 2014, a day after the “Polar Vortex” eased it’s icy grip up a bit here in New England, with Cape Cod still on the frosty side but no longer digging out from the blizzard, as that snow melted in this new normal of yo yo weather patterns all due to global warming…as ironic as that sounds.  Speaking of snow jobs, how ’bout that Chris Christie, the husky governor of the great state of New Jersey?  In fact, if you had the time today, you could have listened or watched the one hour and forty eight minute apology to the people of New Jersey… Saying he was blindsided by some close staff members in his office, thanks to the now infamous emails that stated, “It’s time for some traffic problems in Fort Lee”, and the response, “Got it!”, emails sent by Christie’s deputy chief of staff, well, not any more, ’cause ‘ole Chris fired her but good just this morning, as he eluded to time and time again in his “all about me” apology that was full of more holes than anything else, indeed begging more questions than the “answers” he provided US today (good luck in 2016).  This all while the President spoke at the White House in this “year of action”, with members of “promise zones” in the background.  Reaching out to the rest of US, explaining that the income inequality gap in this great nation must be addressed (as it was under President Lyndon B. Johnson who brought the poverty level down, during the years of 1964 to 1970, from 22.2 percent to 12.3 percent, echoing the famous “War on Poverty speech” that is fifty years and one day old today!), somehow narrowing that ever widening GRAND CANYON gap between the haves and the have nots–not just with lip service, right Marco?, but with real action that makes a real difference to millions of Americans that are just as important as say a David Koch or Donald, “climate genius”, Trump.  The top one percent in this country have seen their incomes skyrocket by 278 percent, while the bottom 90 percent have seen there wages flat line over this same thirty year period.  Deserts in urban regions that include food, education, health and basic human safety are now common place and more often than not ignored.  Homeless people dying in the streets of Los Angeles to Chicago to Boston, helpless to stave off the bitter cold of not only the elements, but of the human heart as well.  Pity that we spend a whole day talking about this shameful vengeance the good governor of New Jersey may or may not have known anything about, wink, wink, nudge, nudge, isn’t that right you giant bully?!!  Your organization is run like a paramilitary organization, tell me one more time you did not know anything about the ‘traffic study’?  You hate liars, right Chris?  How can we believe that a young, rather innocent employee of yours, your deputy chief of staff, Bridget?, you know her, yes, tell us that she, Bridget, called up the Port Authority that looks over the busiest bridge in the world, yes, this angelic looking figure called up Bob down on the docks and said, “…let’s shut down three lanes for a week on ‘da bridge in September ’cause that dirty ‘Serbian’ mayor from Fort Lee did not bow down and kiss the boss’s ring/and or ass, can you believe ‘dat?”  Or something to that effect, yes, do you, Mr. Christie, really think we are going to believe that crock of #hit?  Really?  Well, we are starting off this New Year with a bang!  Have a wonderful evening folks and I promise to get back real soon right here on seacapecod.net! Cheers! PRESERVE THE WILDERNESS! Peace~M
