Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the cool, misty island of Nantucket! Great to be with you on this Wednesday morning, the fourteenth day of December, 2011, a raw one on Cape, looking forward to getting a tree and a haircut, as have been of late, not ashamed to say it, a tree huggin’, filthy, liberal, hippy. I am truly sorry, for I am just a man, not alone mind you, who has seen this whole circus already, in fact, most of his childhood and part of his adulthood, the literal hijacking of this democracy and it’s people by an invisible corporate agenda (free market capitalism with NO MORALS) that is taking the fight to the people (the real culture war) via many fronts, from ‘let’s build some more hate’, the new corporate slogan for Lowe’s Home Builders, who’s CEO, Nipfu%k or something like that, is in bed with the insane right wing lunatic fringe out there, like Pam ___, whose last name ‘I will not utter here’ (credit “Gandalf” from the film,“The Lord of the Rings”), who see Muslims as terrorists, with a big, broad stroke mind you, yes ALL of them, to Goldman Sachs, the fine ‘investment banking firm’ that makes money ‘the old fashioned way’, you know, by encouraging it’s own clients to buy bogus, TOXIC investments, while it places bets against said investments, making BANK!…nice. Yes, from Pay Day loan sharks who charge 440 percent interest rates to the working poor who have no other choice, calling up with death threats if they are late with a payment, to big polluting energy monsters, like bp or Koch Industries, Halliburton or Exxon-Mobile, the Kings of pollution, representing and embodying, as corporations are people too now, thanks to Citizens United, a real life, reality t.v. show bringing everyone the end game day plan for our earth, with the 24/7/365 absolute rape and pillage of said earth and it’s precious resources for “It’s” gain, while the earth itself propels itself into a period in it’s very alive history, where the temperature may just become to hot to sustain life as WE current(v)-ly know it… That is why I put that title on today’s ‘blog’, for that is the height of what I coined “Faith Hill” in the tiny, tiny town of Osterville on Cape, a hill that houses a lifeguard house where, in the summer, lifeguards watch over the bathers, swimmers, boaters, what have you, at famous Dowses Beach. As you can see today, the hill is covered with snow. But is it? We have yet to have had any snow this year, on Cape. Unusual to say the least, as this shot was taken in December as well, two years ago. If one takes a ‘gander’ at the long term weather patterns, the cold air, what’s left of it, is far to the north, as the continental U.S. stays relatively warm for this time of year. Problem? Not really at the moment. But, if WE look out fifty, perhaps, 100 years from now, 17 feet is the projection, on a conservative computer model construct, the seas will rise all over the world, putting millions in harms way, as entire nations, such as the Islands of the Maldives, will literally be underwater, a cousin problem to the U.S. housing crisis if you will, the figurative underwater crisis millions of Americans are facing down, causing the future population at that place and ‘time’, to scratch their collective heads and say in unison and with a very loud and angry voice, ‘what part of the word ‘SCIENCE’, empirical scientific FACT, did they not understand?’…. This clown show called the republican ‘Swamp People’ (reality television mockery of television), will not even be a sad footnote when the history of 21st century America is told in a many volume book form, by many fine authors alive and well today in the good, ‘ole U.S. of A., however, may live on in countless reruns of Fox & Friends, where alien beings will howl with laughter watching the zany antics of Steve Ducey, what’s his name and what’s her face. What kind of madcap, kooky, nutty things will those kids come up with next? Alf? Have a nice day folks and GOD BLESS US ALL. PRESERVE THE WILDERNESS! Peace~M
